According to Watchers on the Wall and their sources it’s looking like King’s Landing will be under attack next season which could prove Daenerys Targaryen’s visions at the House of the Undying true. It also looks like Winterfell is preparing it’s defenses for the Great War.. The Night King and his Army are South so it’s only a matter of time before they reach Winterfell.. The White Walkers should be the final battle/villain. They spent so much time slowly building them up behind the scenes only to get rid of them so quickly. That would be horrible.

Big thing is that the Night King could easily split his army in half with one part of his army sieging Winterfell and the other goes with him south to King's Landing. Even if everyone survives the siege of Winterfell they'd probably be wondering what was going on and where was the Night King.

The scenario i see is the Night king drops off a couple white LT, the dead are raised along with who they killed. The Night King attacks King's Landing an army of the dead attacks destroys King's Landing now John & Daenerys and their allies are now caught between 2 armies. John was foreshadowing that when he asked Tyrion how many people live in King's Landing and Tyrion said about a million people.

In Deanarys vision it should be noted that above the iron throne was a seven pointed star of the faith of the seven. When Cersei became Queen she replaced it with the lion of Lannister.
