  1. I like your suggestion of the Mountain dying by fire. Theory: at some point Beric Dondarrion is killed and The Hound acquires his flaming sword. Also, maybe The Hound goes to Kings Landing to follow Arya who heads there to complete her list.

  2. I'm not sure how they can do Cleganebowl now, whilst I would love to see it, it's just the Hound is going back to the North now, only way for Cleganebowl to happen now is for the North and the Riverlands to Fall which will create a massive retreat/gathering at King's Landing.

  3. Think about it…The Mountain never leaves Cersei's side. And we know that Cersei will more than likely get killed by Jaime. The Mountain wouldn't allow that if he was living. So my point is, I think it'll be a combination of people that take out The Mountain. Jaime will obviously be around (if we go on the notion he'll be the one to kill Cersei). And Brienne may be involved as well, due to her connection with Jaime. My point is, The Mountain will fall probably by a combination of Jaime, The Hound, and possibly Brienne, and it'll happen right before/after Cersei is killed. Just my thoughts…

  4. I agree and good video Smokescreen.

I had no doubt that it was going to happen because of the obvious foreshadowing we were given in the dragon pit in season 7. The fans would scream blue murder if the show did not deliver on this one.
It did bother me that they made it so obvious because most hints in GOT (and one of the reasons we love the show so much) are subtle. Then a couple of weeks ago I came across the the "four leaked pages" from season 8 and there was some comment on one of the videos that the mountain is killed by the Hound and Brienne.
This makes me more comfortable with the aforementioned foreshadowing because it is so like the show runners to always keep something in reserve (and in this case the fact that it's a double team takedown).

Could fire be involved? possibly but maybe not as Brienne acts as the fire substitute ?

On a side note, Star Wars – The Last Jedi was awful and I completely agree with your video on that topic.

  5. "You know who's coming for you" means it's someone else. If it were the Hound, he would have said so. He didn't. Berrik was tasked with the job, the Mountain knows it and had to have heard he was still alive. There will be no Clegane Bowl.

  6. Hey, Ive just found this channel for the first time, maybe I glanced it a couple of years ago BUT its great and my new favourite, theories are the best I've found, especially The Gods Eye theory, I really wish I found it sooner. well done to all involved.

  7. Ask for the Clegane Brothers, what if we get the bowl between them but not in the way we expect. What if Sendor kills his brother but not was anger, but rather with Mercy. Grrm is said to be against War, not that it's very apparent on the screen. But what if there is a message of forgiveness and mercy. If the NK will gain control over the mountain, the only way to kill Gregor would be with fire, and that could be delivered by his brother who is actually terrified of Fire. So to close his Arc he could overcome the fear of Fire and actually forgive his brother but also and his life.

  8. Prologue: The War for the Dawn is underway. As the Night King and his army of the undead battle the forces of the North along with those Daneyrus brought over from Essos it's imperative that reinforcements from the south join in the fight. After Jamie Lannister's arrival in Winterfell and the disclosure that Cersei had lied and would not be sending her forces north; a counsel meeting is held to discuss a strategy to force Cersei to capitualate.

Arya Stark joins in the discussion. "I have a plan but you won't like it". Tyrion and Sansa look at her with concern in their eyes. "And what exactly do you have in mind?" Asks Sansa. "I'll have to keep the details secret, I only ask that you trust me" "We can't risk the slightest of details to get out" The handful of counsel members surrounding the table all mumble under their breath. "Do you not trust us child?" Asks Varys. "Have we not proven our loyalty time and again?" "Not to me you haven't" snips Arya. Varys looks away disgusted while Tyrion chuckles under his breath. "There may be hope for us yet". "I will only tell Sansa and Bran of my plan." "Jon need not worry about this, he has enough to worry about leading the fight." "Do not send him a raven at the Last Hearth."
Sansa sends the rest of the counsel out of the room and only she ,Bran and Arya are left. "So, little sister what have you schemed up this time?"

scene: Beach exterior under the Red Keep at night. A small boat lands on the beach and two shadowy figures, one large and one small exit the craft..

"So far so good" whispers Arya to the Hound. "How many Guards between here and the royal bedchambers?" asks Arya. The Hound had once been a guard to the Lannisters in what seems like a lifetime ago. "No more than a handful" replies Gregore. "Good" says Arya. "I haven't eaten in 2 days and I'd like to get this over with quickly"
Arya and the Hound make their way stealthily towards the Queen's bedchamber. Working their way through the hallways of the Keep they take out the guards posted one by one without setting off any alarms until they reach the hallway just before Cersei's room. Outside the door the Mountain stands guard. Arya peeks around the corner and sees him. The plan was to let the Hound distract him and lead him away from the door while she takes care of the lock. He charges the Mountain and as they fight moving away from the doorway. Arya picks the lock and enters the queen's room quickly locking the door behind her. Turning around she is startled by what she sees.
It's a trap! She's met by no less than a half dozen gold cloaks with Cersei in the back of the room leering at her with that "I'm smarter than you" smirk on her face. "What's the matter little wolf?" "Were you expecting to catch me unprepared? I know everything that goes on in this city thanks to my little birds. " Didn't my little brother tell you?"
"I have a little brother too" replies Arya and at just that moment a host of ravens fly in the window attacking and distracting the guards while Arya dances around the room knocking out all the candles and lanterns leaving the room in pitch darkness. In the darkness you hear fighting and the sound of bodies hitting the floor.

Quick cut to the Hound and the Mountain fighting in the hallway trading blows as the fight seems to be at a stalemate. Both men giving as good as they're getting. Working their way into the tunnels once again. Past the corpses of the guards they killed on the way in. Suddenly the Hound is dealt a serious wound. He drops his sword and holds his side. His much bigger brother walks over to a torch on the wall. He lays down his sword and grabs the torch. Once again his intent is to burn his brother. He walks toward him as the Hound is kneeling trying to regain his strength…..
The commotion has alerted the rest of the guards and the alarm bells ring…..The rest of the Gold Cloaks rush in and surround the two brothers but giving them room to finish their conflict
The Mountain hovers over his brother with the torch slowly moving it closer to his face. The Hound does not cringe reflexively to the fire as he did before. Instead he looks his breother in the eyes. The palace guards are still watching the scene unfold as if they were spectators at the arena. Sensing this fight is about to end.
Just as the Mountain is about to bring the torch down on the Hound a sound pierces the room. "STOP!" cries Cersei as she descends the stairway along with Qyburn. "Never let it be said that the Lannisters didn't repay their debts." "This dog, while an enemy now, once served this family and deserves a fair fight. And I do enjoy a good fight. I shall allow him to retrieve his weapon and finish this like a true warrior"
The Hound limps over to his broadsword as the Mountain retrieves his. They stand apart facing each other knowing this is the end. A defiant Sandor looks at what once was his brother. He puts one hand on the base of the blade. "Here's one trick father never taught you,you cunt" and as he raises his hand up the spine of his blade it ignites with a blaze of fire. He lunges at the startled Mountain with a mighty leap and splits his helm in half ,slicing through his skull as the Mountain bursts into flame screaming. A startled Qyburn looks at Cersei who smiles a creepy little smile as she produces the Catspaw dagger from her gown and slices his throat. The Gold Cloaks shocked at what they are seeing start to close in on The Hound but from the shadows of the room a hundred pairs of eyes glow in the dark as muted growls are heard. From the darkness in the tunnels Nymeria and her wolfpack appear and lay waste to the guards as Arya removes her Cersei mask and smiles with a little wink to her friend the Hound. "Now to send Cersei's armies north to help Jon and then raid the kitchen. I could go for some chicken right now how about you? "

  9. Perhaps the hound saw something else in the flames, maybe that he is too kill the mountain with fire, as the mountain is basicly a white/undead.

So he is coming for him, and he always knew, meaning he knew it would be fire.
