Arya is the ascension into what The Hound is today, a killer. Tragedy turned into hate, but more in her case vengeance.
I've been rewatching GoT in light of what we now know and love how the creators either foreshadowed or intentionally created material that links to earlier episodes. I just watched the Mhysa episode (which follows the red wedding) wherein Frey's fate is revealed to be that of the Rat Cook. Did you also notice?
Do Dragons Float like Ducks? I imagine they float like ducks.
From an non-reader's perspective a lot of these sound a bit far fetched / not foreshadowing XD
Kat arrested tyrion because of little finger lies?
The significance of the sand is Jon's real name. He is a bastard of the south so his last name should be sand, not snow. I think it implies he was born in Dorne. They are foreshadowing the big reveal or who Jon's mother is along with R+L=J carved there as well.
When Arya killed Walder Frey, the first thing I thought is "does she have an orgasm ?"
Bruh! The tower of joy pull is brilliant!! Keep these going! Martin & HBO need to put you on payroll. Seriously!
And bastards born in Dorne are named Sand
Sir Hue's Jousting armor gave me the twitches. He got what he deserved tilting without a bevor.
During the Jousting Tournament, I'm wondering why no one told LittleFinger to stay the fuck away from Sansa. Robert knew LittleFinger was a slimy prick, he should of looked out for his boy Ned, and told him to find another seat…
Sansa hadn't even had her first period yet, and here he is whispering in her ear for 20 minutes smh…
another great video Chris. Thanks for your continued commitment. I was blown away when I saw the R+L the 2nd I watch it the episode during my GOT addiction binge wathing
r l in wall…
holy absolute dick
SmokeScreen folks….In medieval and tudor times surfaces were cleaned with salt and aromatic herbs to kill germs although, as the watch is broke, it could be sand, but i think i remember from the books that salt was a big deal because they use it to preserve food as well….i will have to go and read it again but i doubt it as in those historical times salmonella would kill you dead pretty quickly i surmise …. Lucy Wolesley had an entire bbc documentary about that, check it out…..
If Cait didn't take Tyrion the war likely starts anyway. Ned was still playing detective in King's Landing which is what led to both his and Robert's deaths and the fact that Jamie fathered all of Cersei's kids. Cait's move added another level of hostility between the Starks and Lannisters but it was completely independent of what Ned was doing which is what really led to The War of the 5 Kings. Cait taking Tyrion led to the War between the Lannisters and Tulleys. Even Robb didn't start to rebel until after Ned was taken and didn't concern himself with what was happening with his family in the Riverlands. The rest didn't make a move until after both Ned and Robert were dead.
Haven't seen this episode in a while but I believe Bronn and Tyrion have a brief moment in that scene at the Inn. I think Bronn offers to let Tyrion have his room and Tyrion throws him a coin and say something like "There's a smart man!" Definitely foreshadowing Tyrion paying Bronn for more services.
I feel most people aren't as into this show as i am, then i watch your videos – and get jealous i dont know people in person who love the show as much as i do. .
the first few seasons, literally, meant everything to me, i'd never been so emotionally invested in the show, now reading the books, i feel renewed…
man i miss the first 3-4 seasons….. nowadays 5 plus, it feels less like the earlier seasons, but i will always love the show.
keep making videos, it's what i watch at 3am working out
Great catch on the sand and Sam, interesting indeed, all we need now is reed to come back! R+L!!!
My notification bell as not ringin for two days=(
I didn't take the sand/bucket as an actual mini-Dorne, just that Snow would be a Sand if born in Dorne (not literally, but just the clue to where jon was born).
Me again love the vids but I got a question series 6.3 urya and the faceless gal wen she was asking urya about her family the way I took it if she was lying she would get a smack if telling the truth she wouldn't get smacked wen urya sed she had 4 brothers she got smacked wen she sed bran rob and rikon she got smacked wen she sed Jon she never let me no wat u think sorry bout dis Im just a big fan👍
How about the "sand" actually implies Jon's actual bastard name – if he is a bastard – because he was born in the south, and the bastards are named "sand"?
Are you sure that's not salt instead of sand?
That's not a smirk on Arya's face, she is not enjoying the death. My interpretation is that it's shock but also a morbid clinical fascination: this is, I presume, the first time she's someone die and I don't think such a reaction is that unusual. But she is not enjoying it.
These are great. One thing that might be nice is if you put the episode (e.g., 1.3) in the title so it's easier to follow along with the actual episodes you're talking about.
