The throwaway comment made by Tyrion about hands of the king having shorter than average lives may foreshadow the death of Tywin Lannister. As hand to a queen as opposed to a king, Tyrion might eventually be spared from the same fate.

The line about Joffrey being "spared all kinds of trouble down the road" may possibly have foreshadowed that he was going to die as a result (albeit indirectly) of his mistreatment of Sansa (she wanted to escape because of her mistreatment and was an unwitting pawn in his death as a result).

Chris , I just want to say that I love this series! 😊 Regarding this particular episode, I have never understood why Ned and Catelyn are so naive regarding Littlefinger. I think it is one of GRRM's few missteps – because it's just not believable.  
I can sort of excuse Catelyn's behavior because she clearly lacks analytical skills and she's blinded by her own emotionalality and mean-spiritedness. (In her "first" life she's not as crazy as Lyssa but in her "resurrected" life, she eclipses Lyssa's madness. With the exception of the Blackfish, all the Tullys are irrational. Too bad Ned married one). A seasoned and successful battle commander like Ned should not be so naive about Littlefinger.  
You should do a series on Ned and Catelyn's marriage – and how crazy her family is. Keep up the great work! Thank you.

I was viewing The Last Harpy's channel and reading responses when one popped up and caught my eye. Venka Narsingam wanted to know if The Last Harpy could do a video on the fact that the White Walkers left at least two people alive and why. So I bring this to you. Why did the Walkers leave Will (the deserter from season one), Samwell Tarly and Crastor alive? Crastor we know had a deal with them but why Will and Sam? Was Will left to bring the message that they are coming? If so, then why leave Sam alive? Is there something that they sensed about these two men, that we all missed? What are your thoughts one this one?

I've watched all these videos and they are good but I can't help but feel like 80%of these are not foreshadowing at all its just plot development dude. and this series is remarkably similar to Preston Jacobs video series what you've been missing where he gos through each episode and shows what's missing from the books in the show where as this series is just picking an episode and using just pointing out the plot lines lol. forshadowing is brand dream of the ocean flooding winferfell and then theon coming along and taking the castle. that's foreshadowing not plot development. I still love your work just had to put that out there

While I admit Viserys was repulsive, arrogant and undeserving of the crown, I still find it shocking that Dany let him be killed. She could have had him locked up. This is a big difference with Jon. She is power hungry and rarely seeks reasoned solutions. He is the opposite. I will be disappointed if any relationship strikes up between them as she is so irritating and uninteresting a character despite her central importance to the story line.
