Earlier this month, it was revealed the hit HBO show were looking for two young actors to play characters from the North.
And now there are another seven roles to fill which have dropped huge clues about what fans can expect from the last instalment.
According to fansite Watchers on The Wall, the first role is for a Mercenary, aged 35-50, who will be filming up until June next year.
He is described as: “An authoritative, fit, cool and charismatic military type. He’ll be appearing in 2 episodes of season 8. The role requires he be able to ride a horse.”
Perhaps this person will be filming with Euron Greyjoy (played by Pilou Asbaek) who was sent to retrieve the mercenaries known as the Golden Company, who are one of the most powerful armies.
Game of Thrones is also searching for a few people to take on some roles to portray characters in the North.
One of the parts is for a Northern farmer, aged 25-35, who is a “straightforward honest man of simple tastes who works on the land”.
Another is a sassy and attractive girl, aged 18-25, who is a “sexy and confident Northern girl playing a good, memorable one-scene part in one episode”.
While a third role is for a Northern soldier, aged 18-25, who will play a small part opposite leading cast.
The casting descriptions also state they are looking for someone to play a sailor which suggests the show will be focusing on the Ironborn next season.
The role is for someone aged 35-50 who will play a “rough and read sea-faring type with a weathered face and strong presence”.
Elsewhere, there are two guard roles to fill and one of them will be filming in Spain, suggesting the show is once again going outside of Westeros.
Game of Thrones season eight is expected to return to screens in 2019.
