Things are hotting up in the final season of Game Of Thrones if this new footage is anything to go by.
Footage of the Winterfell set in Northern Ireland ablaze has got GOT fans wondering if more characters are set to go down in flames.
Apparently smoke has been seen billowing from the set for a few days.
Professional photographer Oakleaf Photography shared spectacular pictures from the set just outside Toomebridge in Northern Ireland, saying that over 200 extras were involved in ‘a big battle scene’.
Meanwhile Steven McAuley shared a video on Facebook of the set burning, adding the caption: ‘GOT set on fire’.
Filming on the HBO show’s final season is rolling on with the series set to air in 2019.
Star Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, recently said the finale will be ‘heartbreaking’.
Speaking of his reaction to reading the last scripts for the show, he said: ‘It was heartbreaking and the end of an era’.
Meanwhile Maisie Williams, who has been on the show since she was 12, has said she’s anxious about Game Of Thrones ending.
‘It’s exciting knowing I’m going to get to do more things. But it’s nerve-wracking because its been my safety net’, she said earlier this month.
