Bronn (played by Jerome Flynn) has been an interesting figure throughout Game of Thrones.

He has forged some important relationships, notably one with Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

But a certain moment between the pair of them could hint toward something bigger for Bronn on the HBO series.

Reddit user jpenico wrote: “When he [Bronn], Shae and Tyrion are in Tyrion’s tent before one of the battles with Robb Stark’s forces in season 2, Tyrion gets them to play a drinking question game. He would ask them questions and if the answer was yes, they had to drink.

“Tyrion asks Bronn if he’s been north of the wall—Bronn kinda smirks and takes drink without saying anything. They just move on from that. No questions.

“This is probably not a big deal whatsoever, but it made my ears perk up—why the hell was this sellsword north of the wall?? What did he do there? What did he see??

“I highly doubt that it will play any role in the show, or with his character (because who is even going to remember that little detail? The show-runners seem to forget some of them sometimes), but i thought it was interesting.”

But could Bronn’s experience Beyond the Wall come into play in the final season?

The White Walkers are descending from the north down to the other side of the Wall and the residents of Westeros will need to do everything they can to defeat them.

If Bronn’s mysterious trip up so far north saw him battle with the undead, it could provide him with some valuable experience to secure his safety.

However, it remains to be seen whether any of them will survive at all.

Missandei star Nathalie Emmanuel recently teased the ending would be “bittersweet”.

She said: “It’s going to be amazing and better than any series we have had so far.

“It does the final series justice, it is so brilliant.”

The actress added to The Sun: “It’s bittersweet, I think it’s come to its natural end.

“We had such a beautiful time and we have such an amazing cast that has been through so much.”

Meanwhile, earlier this week, HBO released some brand new images of the key Game of Thrones players.

But some fans think they’ve picked up some clues about the forthcoming series from the images.

One full-length snap of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) shows her without a baby bump.

Subsequently, some believe this is confirmation she has either lied to Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) that she is with child or that she somehow loses the unborn baby.

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic on April 14. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
