One fan has appeared to find the moment ’s (played by Kit Harington) death was predicted in an earlier series.

The former Nights Watchman was brutally murdered in season five of the hit series.

Fans were left worrying if the now King in the North would ever return.

But it seems they need not have worried as Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) confirmed he would be resurrected in a huge clue many missed.

Reddit user XxxRDTPRNxxX has been re-watching old series of Game of Thrones and found a moment when Samwell predicts Jon’s death and return.

They wrote: “In S05E08 (Hardhome) Olly comes to talk to Samwell and while it wasn’t clear at the time, looking back with hindsight it’s obvious he’s wrestling with the decision to betray Jon.

“Samwell unknowingly encourages Olly to do so.

“’Sometimes a man has to make hard choices, choices that might look wrong to others, but you know are right in the long run.’

The Reddit user went on to add: “Now here’s where the foreshadowing comes in. Right after Samwell says that he adds…

“’Try not to worry Olly, I’ve been worrying about Jon for years. He always comes back.’

“If that wasn’t enough foreshadowing, this is also the first episode where john is referred to as a king. The wildlings call him “King Crow” when they meet him.

“So right there in this one episode you have references to Olly betraying Jon, Jon coming back to life, becoming king, and then it ends with a White Walker fight.

“And the significance of this is completely lost unless you’ve already seen episodes they hadn’t made at the time.”

While Jon’s death and resurrection has already played out and he is now King in the North, could this moment reveal he will also be King of Westeros?

It comes after .

The Khal died due to an infected would and fans have been desperate for him to return.

However the actor denied he would return and insisted it was best for Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) he had died.

“Khaleesi… I feel like she inherits that strength and she has to be by herself and do it that way,” he told the New York Daily News.

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
