Speaking to The One Show hosts Ricky Wilson and Alex Jones, the 30-year-old star admitted that he is “emotional” about the HBO fantasy coming to an end.
The actor confessed: “I’m really emotional about it. We had the read through last week, so I know everything.”
“But I cried at the end – not over anything particular that happened – but it’s been 8 years and no one cares about it more than we do.
“It’s going to be a strange year saying goodbye to people,” Kit admitted.
What’s more, he also revealed that he is going to cut his hair as soon as filming has finished on season eight.
Kit joked that “no one will know who he is” when his famous black locks have disappeared.
Earlier in the show, Ricky asked Kit to get him a role on Game of Thrones after claiming “it worked for Ed Sheeran”.
Kit told the 39-year-old Kaiser Chiefs frontman to grow his beard and he would cast him.
Game of Thrones is expected to return in 2019.
