I'd like it if the spinoffs weren't bound to just one storyline, timeline, and set of characters.  I wouldn't mind if they were a collection of independent stories from the past, most taken from the books.  You could have one main story that recurs every so often but have most episodes be their own story, kind of like how X-Files had their mythology episodes and their "Monster of the Week" episodes.  It seems unlikely they would go this route as it would most likely wouldn't be very cost efficient but I think it would be cool.

what about Bran the Builder and Winterfell crips

I think if they do a spin off it should be Dunk & Egg … And they should call it The Dunk & Egg Chronicles … I really think it would be kool … or The Rogue Prince that would be kool too … also I love Dragon Ball , z , Gt , etc. your on the right path dude 🙂 … And just to touch on the subject of the final 2 seasons of GOT … I think if they are gonna do a spin off you will see the set up towards s particular story line that will tie in to what is happening in the last seasons of the show … that's how you will be able to kinda know what story the spin off will tie into … cause believe it or not the writers of the show loooove to leave clues even though they and GRRM like to say ppl read into it to much … thats not true they only say that to throw you off … they looove it that you go deeper , make theories read all the spin off books go back and read the ASOIF books again and so on. Trust me the books the show has no equal in that way at least not many and they love it. but yeah those are my thoughts 🙂

It would be cool if they did an animated series that is a 100% direct adaption of the books like how the Batman animated series is with the comics but with better animation. We'd finally get Lady Stoneheart and much more stuff that they changed.
