Game of Thrones Season 8 The Fate of Daenerys Targaryen’s Dragons – Endgame Theory

Let me know all your Season 8 predictions and theories for the Dany's dragons down below! Will all three of them die? Viserion has to die but what about Drogon and Rhaegal? Drogon has always been the favourite and well protected with plot armour so I think he may die in the final season!

I will continue to make more Season 8 videos I am thinking 2 or 3 a week right now until we start hearing more about the final season.

I think that Drogon is going to die. I hate it but I do. Its just a feeling I have. Rhaegal will live BUT Drogon will lay dragon eggs in the Winterfell crypts. Jon always felt a strange pull yet he was nervous to go there. It was always said a dragon lived under there and kept the waters and springs warm. I think Drogon will kill Viserion in the fight and will die from his wounds. He will land but be too weak to move and die. Then Jon and the Night King go at it!

My spoiler will be that Viserion will recognize is Mum and will try to destroy the Night King for wanted to hurt his Mummy!

is it possible that Jon(Aegon) could somehow gain control of Viserion(Bluefire dragon), i mean he is a mix of fire and ice 🙂

I know the battle for the north is going to be a frozen, dragon fiery hell but it's the villain faction to the south that is raising more questions, Lannisters, GreyJoys, Golden company, and the war elephants! Theirs also rumors of a kraken to appear next season but that my be going a little over board

Drogon dying is probably one of the most annoying things tht can happen but its sooooooo like GOT to do that. im just mad tht its an actual realistic possibility

but also. i feel like a dragon has to survive the series and because Drogon is everybody's fave (rlly only because we havent had a chance to like the others. we dont know them) it wont be him. i think one has to survive because i think the dragons need to exist in the world again and there isnt any time for them to lay eggs(lool tho idk how much time is needed ) i just think tht the laying eggs thing is sumn tht will happen years from now. but jon is riding rhaegal and we will get a dragon vs dragon. and yes i agree tht Dany will hesitate to kill Viserion if she can

im actually more ok with Daenerys dying than Drogon and Dany is my absolute fave so thats an idea of how deep this is.what Dany said in the Pit indicates some thing (not sure what) that without them they were ordinary… who is she without Drogon?? as u said, hes a part of her. Not just emotionally in the show but as a character in the grand scheme of things, drogon is a part of her character. I dont appreciate a GOT with Dany n without Drogon. on tht note then, ure probably right that its gonna happen.

We are all asking about weather Viserion is vulnerable to fire, this raises the question of whether Dany would retain her invulnerability to fire if she where to die and become a Wight.

Here goes:

Drogon kills Viserion, because Drogo killed Viserys.

Jon rides Drogon, not Rhaegal. Otherwise, why put that scene in between Drogon and Jon? Dragons are expensive after all. They could easily have had a Jon and Rhaegal scene instead of a Jon and Drogon one. What about Dany? Well she'll either be heavily pregnant or dead, so unable to ride Drogon and Jon will take him. I'll say pregnant as they basically told us she was going to get pregnant in season 7. And, Drogon is named after her 1st husband, so it makes sense that her new husband (bound to get married at some point) will ride him.

Drogon and Jon kill the Nights king. I've had this theory for a while: That the end of the battle of the bastards will mirror the end of the Night King. I'm referring to when Jon, Wun wun and Tormund are the three who chase after Ramsey. Except it will be Jon, Drogon and maybe Beric? (The Tormund spot is up for grabs) that will go after the Night King when he's in retreat. So I guess this is when Drogon will die too, if I'm right.

I think Rhaegal being killed by Viserion makes sense, but the Night King doesn't get the chance to rez him.

Maybe Dany's kid gets some eggs as a pressie for the very last scene of the show.

Or… the Night King doesn't die at all and we have a major plot twist incoming concerning his motivation/goal.

Dany: Is that my child?
Jon: It appears that the NK has made Viserion his drago-
Dany: Excuse me sister! I am the only one who rides dragons.
NK: Think again
(Dany and NK have a bitch fight about how Dany is their mother and therefore only she can ride them)

Look at all the holes in his wings already- he may not be able to fly by the time the show comes back- lol.

Only hope is if Bran can gain control of Viserion.

Or does it foreshadow jon & dany having a baby but its going to die as soon as its born?

When dany gave jon the dead baby dragon skull in the dragon pit is that foreshadowing dany getting pregnant & will give jon a baby dragon??

I think you have covered most of the possibilities about the future of the dragons. One thing, though. There was one pic, in about the middle of the vid, which showed a dragon (Viserion, I think) with holes in his wings. Could that be a sign that like, other un-deads, Viserion could fall apart? I think that is very likely. We'll see about that in season eight.
Oh, I think Jon/Aegon will ride Rhaegal. How could Jon/Aegon be a Targaryen and not ride a dragon?

The idea of a freshly lain eggs along with the birth of Deanery's baby is epic! It must happen!

I hope you are right; the action needs to step up.If there isn't a loss of dragon or a conflict between Viserion and the others, it's going to be pretty predictable. I think they (GRRM and D&D) may have lulled us into a false sens of security with the relative calmness of season seven, and the predictability of it.

I think that Ragayl will fight Viseron

I think that the dragons will be set free, a new beginning for them and a new beginning for the Targaryans…. If Dany rides Drogon in a dragon fight with Viserion, both will survive, but Dany will not as forseen by Jorah, her silver hair will be seen and an arrow will find her heart, it was also mentioned in Season seven by Tyrion, that reeks of foreshadowing..

I'm hopeful that they have a clutch of eggs back on Dragonstone

I feel from the ( fakenews) plot leaks it should be the end of the dragons, sadly. But Dany so wrapped up in Jon 🙄 I wish she would have addressed losing viserion more. I mean D&D could have given her some solo time to just think or cry about it. After all she did lose one of her 'children'

Drogon will be 5x bigger then usual as he has grown bigger even after seasons

I think in the Dragon battle it will the strongest vs the fastes (Drogon vs Veserion) because we all saw how fast he was when destroying the wall, so i think he'll be a challenge
