Game of Thrones Season 8 The Fate of the Direwolves – Endgame Theory

Let me know all your Season 8 predictions and theories for the Direwolves down below! Will Nymeria and her pack return in The War for the Dawn? WIll Ghost get some screen time? I love the Direwolves so I am hoping they play a part in the final season and if they don't then I feel the ending will suffer because of it.

Nymeria had a big send off. Please Nymeria still could be a big player either her taking her pack north to aid her brother in the fight against the Night's King, which may be enough to take on a Wight version of Summer or something else.

Personally what I'd love to see is Cersai's bought mercenaries heading up through the river lands after Jamie takes the Lannister Garrison North from Riverrun and instead of having an easy path as they get near the God's Eye they hit an army with it's own agenda that fights like no other.

The golden company verses an army of wolves lead by a giant direwolf with a hate on for Lannisters and their gold would be a sight to see and would also really test Cersai's statement that buying an army is enough when nature itself begins to turn against you.

Hi, I had totally forgotten about Summer possibly being a white walker Wolf – OMG! I reckon that for sure we'll see a white Summer versus Ghost – wont that be a sad thing. I dont think we've seen the end of Nymeria – I reckon the whole pack will fight for Arya in the final battle. I think the wolves are symbolic of their masters.. Nymeria is no longer part of the Stark pack, neither is Arya, she is no one now, that is why Nymeria didn't go with her. Miss Ghost, he is still loyal to Jon, even though he is a Targ, he is till a Stark… Ghost and Drogon or Rheagal will get along, a symbol of ice and fire… If Ghost dies, Jon dies… I believe both the wolves and the dragons will be set free at the end, in it's way bittersweet…

Season 8 will be a rushed disaster because like all hbo shows once they start winding down they are no longer of any use to them. John should just fly around on ghost it wont really matter by then. You could have cars and tanks in it because it will be that bad. Hbo have gone on and on about cgi costs like they need a kickstarter.

Ghost has kill a wights on S3 or S4.

If anything, if Drogon is at winterfell. I want Drogon and ghost when meet for the first time is to sniff each other ass. And ghost marks his territory in front Drogon. I think that would be a cool cgi effect for them to do.

The only thing I hope it's true from those fake prediction is nymeria and Arya and the Hound kill Cersei and the mountain and that nymeria rips circe's to shreds and then Aria kills her with needle

I agree that it would be a mistake to try to bring Nymeria back; she left on her own terms. If CGI is so expensive, why in Heaven's name would the CUT a scene already made? It's not that they have network TV time constraints. I would HATE to see Ghost go up against an Undead Summer! I know they will rip out hearts out by showing us beloved characters among the Undead. WHY do we let these people keep ripping our hearts out?! LOL!

GHOST! NYMERIA! Direwolves needed! They add so much to this show.

ghost will die saving dearnerys knowing how Jon loves her and sees her pregnancy as a wolf. Jon n dearnerys are the leaders of the pack. and dearnerys being the alpha female of said pack. and with jon off fighting the night king it falls on ghost to defend the the future of the pack, and it's pregnant alpha female. as all the dragons will be fighting it out in the sky. and you might ask why isn't Jon or dearnerys riding them simple, a dragon can only fight so well with a rider. but on their own they can do far more to take on their undead brother.

Maybe we get another fantastic "On The Road" storyline. This time it's Arya & Sandor along with Ghost for good measure. Arya takes Little Finger's face, posing as him eventually in the pretense of having vital info on the Team Fire & Ice, to get close enough to cut the Mad Queen's throat. Sandor runs interference with his brother Frankenmountain with a beautiful finish to Sandor's character arc/hero's journey. It takes he, Arya & Ghost to finally dispatch the "Wight Mountain". And whether any of the three survives is anyone's guess… Your thoughts brother?!

Direwolves can kill Wights, in the books Summer eats them while Bran is warged into him and the flesh is described as wiggling as he swallows it. I don't, however, want to see Ghost eating his dead brother.

That deleted Jon/Ghost scene last season is a scene we needed, Ghost is pivotal to Jon character more so than the dragon's, yes we get it Jon is a Targaryen by blood but he is a Stark, Ghost needs ro be the first one to greet Jon when he returns to Winterfell, I hope he survives the series but i have this feeling he will be killed off just to Jon can ride Reagal…

I hope my Nymerya survives along with Arya ..I love them both..Drogon and Danny also and Jon/ghost also ..My comment sounds stupid right;My english too[is not my first language at all]..

I hope Ghost saves Jon and dies in duty for Jon…this no-show the Ghost drought is hard to take…I also hope Drogon does not gobble our Ghost up…pets do like to squabble for attention… I would prefer to see them growling, snarling, snipping at each other, chewing up Sansa's shoes..pooping in Jon's boots…the usual pet behaviors…but if they have to cut our Ghost out..make sure they do it with him saving Jon from the direwolf-wights…or giant-wights..or even our Ghost battling with Jon against the night-king along with the Dragons..epic battle ! IF Ghost makes it..show him standing to protect the wee baby Dany may have..a protector of the next generation..maybe he'll bite Jamie…lol

If wight Summer is seen…good Lord I really hope that Ghost and Nymeria can take him down

The dire wolves were a big part of the story from the beginning and Ghost was badly missed from that last season – it made it worse when we all knew it was because of money – I'm hoping Ghost will play a part in the final season and maybe make it all the way to the end.
