While we wait for season 8, everyone is speculating how the final season of the series will play out. I have collected some of the best fan theories for season, and now it’s time to count down my top 5 favorites. Enjoy!

  1. The night king and the walkers has to be the final battle. They have buiolt it from episode 1. To just kill them and cersei to be the final villian is just boring. The night kings power, the dragon, the wall and the azor ahai prophecy has all been leading up to something epic in season 8 between the living and the dead not cersei doing her usual shit.

  2. Cersei has always been evil and evil people in the end meet their fate Walder Frey, Ramsay Bolton.. I really hope the show justifies everything Dany has fought for because all the good major people die 😞😞

  3. There must always be a Stark in Winterfell.

^ this has been said FAR too much to be unimportant. Have a feeling it's part of a peace deal/truce/curse/etc, between humans and the white walkers

  4. Maybe The Prince Who Was Promised, and Azor Ahai are not once person but two separate individuals. And maybe Lightbringer isn't a sword but a person. Maybe the ancient stories of Azor Ahai and The War for The Dawn got so muddled and altered and changed over the thousands of years that it's hard to tell fact from fantasy.

How can one single flaming sword defeat the Knight King and the Army of the Dead? Maybe Jon is Lightbringer. You'd have a hell of a job on defeating the Night King and Dead Army with two dozen Star Wars Light-sabres. It's just that we have already seen flaming swords in this show. Stannis wielded one. Beric Dondarrion and Toros of Myr wielded them beyond the Wall, and they didn't look that powerful or effective. And what can be more effective at destroying White Walkers than Dragon Glass and Valyrian steel?

Jon's oath in the Night's Watch, "“I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn".

    MASSIVE clue there.

Is Jon The Prince Who Was Promised, or Azor Ahai, or Lightbringer, or an amalgamation of several legends.

  5. I think we'll get nothing but chaos at the end. No Westerosi Ruler. The night king dies but so will all other major characters and only Sam and Gilly will remain alive to raise Jon and Dany's baby in hiding.

  6. My favorite theory… that we are going to see the return of Rhaego in season 8. The return of Rhaego is the completion of he Mirri Maz Duur prophecy not Drogo and I don't believe it's Dany's death to see Drogo in the afterlife. It is Rhaego. I'm hoping Melisandre will be bringing him back into the story with the Fiery Hand army. I was hoping he would have his own dragon but his own army is cool too. Really wanted a dragon.😒 Can't image GRRM would give us both. A girl can hope though.

  7. I definitely think Tyrion made a promise to Cersei. I do not think he will betray Dany. I think he told Cersei that he will turn himself over to Cersei if she sends her troops to the North to help fight the war against the WW. I was wondering if she might ride in with the Mountain up to Winterfell. Since Jaime is gone it wouldn't surprise me to see her with her troops so she could first hand witness the betrayal of her forces against Dany and Jon's forces. She used to like to put on Jaime's armor and walk around pretending like him when she was younger. I think Tyrion will think she is holding up her end of the deal by showing up and he will turn himself over to her so she could basically have him killed since that is what she truly wants. It wouldn't surprise me if she grabs Sansa while she is there and takes them back to KL. That would give reason for the Hound and Arya to head back to KL. Which could then lead to Cleganbowl. I think Tyrion was going to confide in Dany or say his goodbyes in a way. He is in a very low point emotionally and mentally this season. I think when he saw Jon and Dany it was another punch to his gut, feeling he is not good for anyone, unloved, not needed, etc.

  8. Where are the Unsuilled predictions? It's not like their story-line isn't screwed up in the show. Dany and Jon are a horrible couple. Both could meet their end in my opinion. If I was Tyrion, I'd be concerned. Dany gets stupid and turns over her armies to idiot snow. That's rhagael dead and the Unsuilled and Riders completely wiped out.
