Maisie Williams has teased a team up between Arya and Sansa Stark in Game Of Thrones season eight.
The sisters will have each other’s backs in the final season as they put Jon Snow in his place for ‘thinking with his penis’.
Of course it was easy for the actresses to be pally as they are so close in real life.
Maisie, who plays Arya opposite Sophie Turner as Sansa, told Entertainment Weekly: ‘It’s not often you see a character siding with Sansa who’s not manipulating her.
‘Last season it was really tough for Sansa because Jon was thinking with his penis and it kind of made Sansa look bitter.
‘This season you see Arya teaming with Sansa and sometimes calling out Jon. It felt nice and powerful to stand next to Sophie.
‘Sophie and I are the tightest of friends when sitting across from anyone, so no acting required.’
The 21-year-old got the chance to be involved with epic battle scenes this season, which she admits she found physically and mentally challenging.
‘Nothing can prepare you for how physically draining it is,’ she said.
‘It’s night after night, and again and again, and it just doesn’t stop.
‘You can’t get sick, and you have to look out for yourself because there’s so much to do that nobody else can do… there are moments you’re just broken as a human and just want to cry.’
Season eight is set to have several callbacks to season one, which Maisie said she watched to ‘remind myself of the arc I’ve taken already’.
Creators David Benioff and DB Weiss previously revealed that the first episode of season eight will mirror the first episode of season one.
The pair revealed that season eight will kick off will Daenerys arriving at Winterfell with her armies to face off against the White Walkers. This will reflect the first episode in season one back in 2011 with Robert Baratheon arriving at Winterfell to ask for Ned Stark’s help in King’s Landing. And we all know how that turned out…
Game Of Thrones returns 14 April on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
