  1. They need a set that can be beat up, Winterfell will be beat up, I think we see the importance of the Crypts during this battle and that everyone takes refuge there that is story important and is saved because it also has a Ward there I think, it was built by Bran the Builder, he only built the Crypts and not the upper buildings, I would assume has some of the spells involved. Dragon Fire won't work there because it cannot be attacked from the air and I doubt with the single narrow stair going down that the Night King waste's time trying to pursue there. Sansa, Sam, Gilly, Little Sam, maybe Arya, I fear Bran won't make it down there because of the Chair he needs and stays on top to do a last battle. This way a Stark is still in Winterfell with at least Sansa.

  2. I hope Winterfell survives to see Spring again. Another thing has been bugging me.. in the dragon pit scene when the wight is released, the Mountain doesn't appear to step up to protect Cersei. Not like what he did with the Hound. I'm wondering if that's just a "slip" in the scene, or was it purposeful?? If the Mountain is some kind of undead, would the NK be able to control him?

  3. I think they have already done enough foreshadowing that it will… From Ned saying he can defend Winterfell with 500 men to Tywinn describing the fall of Harrenhall to Wonwon pounding down the door. … there is a dragon and giants coming and maybe more. There are mammoths in the north…. Winterfell is doomed.

Well unless they are smart enough to light the forest on fire and drop 1000 barrels of oil to be lit up on their way in. We will see.

  4. Without further information about the Crypts I don't doubt that Winterfell will fall. Its Fall will be an all episode jaw drop.

But assume for a moment that Aid does come from the Crypts. The Aid from the crypts could take several forms. With 8,000 years of Kings/Lord denying Guest Rights it may be that any who die there will not rise at the call of the Night King. There is also the possibility that we get a Return of the King like sequence of dead Stark spirits fighting physical undead. Or it could be that the dead Starks create an exclusion zone around Winterfell once they are awoken similar to what the Children of the Forest did for their cave.

If the last bastion in Winterfell survives (and since this is Game of Thrones, maybe not) it will be saved at the last minute just before the last defenses crumble. The Hound and Brienne will have died protecting Sansa, Aria or both. Grey Worm, Beric, Tormund and Jhora will also die here if they are present (please not Tormund…), possibly Davos, but I see him surviving the whole thing. If the defense does hold, Podrick Payne will be knighted for his heroics and prowess (justifying the ass beatings he's been getting) and become a sworn sword to either House Stark or Tryion. If Jon/Eagon is ever to ride a Rheagal, it would be here. It is likely that taking down Vyserion will cost another dragon, take your pick as to which one.

  5. i am betting the nights king will bypass winterfell altogether and go straight to kings landing to make dany's vision come true. the nights king used to be a stark after all so maybe he has no fight with them, even wants to protect/avenge them??

  6. I think your correct, the Night King will destroy Winterfell and push our heros South, but I think it's Cersi who is going to burn down King's Landing (and everyone in it) once she realizes that thing is coming towards her, she will make sure NO ONE sits the Iron Throne and that's where Dany's vision comes in… she lives to see the war ended by the person who should have been involved in it anyway (if she wasn't so bitter).

Cersi is the only one who could possibly think like the Night King because she is the one who will do anything to anyone anywhere anytime! But she's so selfish, she can't see that she could have actually come out THE HERO in all this (whether or not she lives or dies). All she had to do was plan to burn the city down & tell them "If you can't stop him, send him to me!"; evacuate her city and wait (some brave souls would and still will volunteer their lives to stop this menance!) He's following Jon & Brann, he ain't thinking about Cersi.

  7. Can I make a theory? Producers say will be more endings, but I think not for hackers. I think Jon and Daenerys die both in the first ending. Bran in the last episode says Baratheon rebellion was based on a lie. I think in 2nd ending Bran travel in time and stop this lie. At third ending Jon Snow will be the prince, his real father on the Iron throne, and meet Daenerys again… just a bit before the return of the Night King. The child of Jon and Dany, in love again, will be the prince promise. And the story starts again… and that will be the real neverending.

  8. I believe the night king will destroy kings landing in the frosted couple of episode and maybe ole town to are up the battle at winter fell to be the final battle the battle for the dawn
The night king having a dragon changes a lot of things mainly he can pop up anywhere in the world at any time with out warming

  9. Hi, new to subscribing, but watch several of your videos (thank you for the information). theory: Bran is already dead!! I put this to you for several reasons. 1. When Master Amens was feeding his Ravens on the wall he was chopping up fresh raw meat for them? 2. When Bran would warg into Summer he seemed to always need to eat on the hunt; and 3. When uncle Benjen found him he rip open a rabbit and gave him the fresh warm blood to drink? Now I could be reaching over the clouds and beyond or maybe you have already addressed this topic. Just wanted your input?

  10. Hey, how do you think the Night's King will die? and what about his fighting skills would Jon or any other good fighter be able to compete against him in one-on-one combat ? and do you think he's Valyrian Steel and Dragon-glass proof ?

  11. Winterfell hasn't been at Castle Ward since season 2. I live in NI. The reason work is going on at Castle Ward is that this weekend there is a festival on at it called winterfell fest. The Winterfell set is now is Toomebridge and has been since season 3. The National Trust here wouldn't let them film anymore because the grounds were being ruined 😂

  12. I think it will fall and at the end we'll see it rebuilt, as part of a new beginning for Westeros. I lean towards King's Landing as where the final battle with the Night King and his army will take place.

  13. Sansa needs to die, and she isn't willing to leave the castle. This means it will fall and she'll do something heroic. Maybe she or Arya will go deep into the crypts and uncover their secrets and the sleeping dragon. Arya will live to the end, so my bet is on her saving herself down there. Even if the castle falls, I believe we'll eventually find out why there must always be a Stark. Maybe it will happen in the end game when the front has already moved south to KL, Jon may fly back on his dragon and enter the crypts to fulfill some ancient prophecy waking some badass dragons and shit.
