Did Sophie Turner actually spoil the final season of Game of Thrones? It’s a question that’s been following her around for months now.
The Sansa Stark actress has been deluged on social media with trolls and fans begging for inside information ever since she admitted in a January interview that she’s “so bad at keeping secrets”.
Turner’s trouble with secrets apparently included spoiling “the ending of Game of Thrones” to some of those closest to her ahead of the episodes actually airing.
Those were comments that Turner lived to regret, so in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the soon-to-be Mrs Jonas tried to set the record straight about her spoiler track record.
“I was on Twitter and saw these headlines like ‘Twitter followers are being so mean to Sophie Turner after reports she told her friends the ending of Game of Thrones‘,” she complained.
“The truth is I’ve only told two people. It’s not that many. To be honest, I don’t read many of the mentions on Twitter because there’s normally quite a bit of hate. Everything I say will always have some negative reactions so I’m not surprised.”
There you have it! Sophie Turner did actually spoil the end of Game of Thrones, but at least it was only to “two people” — one of whom was partner Joe Jonas.
That’s not an offence punishable by dragon fire, is it?
