HBO’s Game of Thrones came to a conclusion in 2019, but the franchise will carry on through a prequel spin-off, House of the Dragon. The show is moving ahead and now, a casting call for the series leads has been put out.
Knight Edge Media released the casting call info. The call posted is as follows:

Visenya Targaryen20s, Caucasian Female. Older sister and wife of King AEGON TARGARYEN. A voluptuous, stern, serious, and unforgiving woman. Riding the dragon Vhagar. LEAD

House of the Dragon takes place 300 years before Robert’s Rebellion and as the casting call suggests, it follows the story of the Targaryen singlings, Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys. The show will chronicle their rise to power.
House of the Dragon is created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal, with a pilot from Miguel Sapochnik. It will air on HBO with a 10-episode season and is expected to arrive in 2022.
