Game Of Thrones Spinoff âHouse Of The Dragonâ Begins Casting
HBOâs Game of Thrones ended in 2019, but the franchise will continue through a prequel spinoff, House of the Dragon. The show is moving ahead, and now, a casting call for the series leads has put out.
Knight Edge Media is revealing that they have noticed the official casting call for House of the Dragon, unveiling a bit more regarding what fans can expect from the series.
Unsurprisingly, it presents Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys Targaryen as leads and further hints that the series will represent the Targaryen invasion of Westeros and rise to power therein. The full descriptions are as follows:

House of the Dragon based on George R.R. Martinâs Westeros book Fire & Blood, the new series happens 300 years before the origin of the original show and takes viewers back to the heyday of House Targaryen.
It tracks the story of the Targaryen singlings, Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys. The show will chronicle their rise to power. Aegon and his sisters viewed as heroes in the eyes of many Game of Thrones characters, especially Daenerys.
House of the Dragon is produced by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal, with a pilot from Miguel Sapochnik. It will broadcast on HBO with a 10-episode season and expected to appear in 2022.
