Game Of Thrones star Liam Cunningham has delivered a chilling warning as to what to expect in the series finale – and it’s not good news for some of our favourites.
The actor, who plays Ser Davos in the Westeros fantasy series, appeared on The Late Late Show in Ireland and teased what to expect when the show returned in April.
Speaking to the host, he admitted that the key to who survives and who fails may have been right in front of us all along, we just didn’t take it as literally as he seems to have done.
When quizzed about whether or not he survives, Liam said: ‘So far, so far. That doesn’t mean anything. We’re all going to die.’
‘Don’t forget – “Valar morghulis”. Which is one of the phrases on the show which means “all men must die”,’ he added.
Soooo…does that mean only the women survive? Or that there’s going to be something massive that wipes out everyone?
Either way, it’s not the most promising new for fans.
But what is promising is how amazing the season eight sounds, with Liam adding that the scenes we’re waiting on with bated breath will ‘make epic seem small’.+
‘We have normally six months to shoot ten episodes, and on the six episodes that we have done for the last season has taken us nearly a year,’ he explained.
‘I can also repeat what the head of HBO said. He’s seen the six episodes twice and said it’s like watching six movies.’
Can we just get the final episodes already?
Fans around the world are desperate for anything to come out as we wait for the final episodes to end the Battle for the Seven Kingdoms.
Who will sit on the Iron Throne? Who’s going to die? Who’s going to survive? And when exactly will Jon and Daenerys figure out that they’re related so should probably stop sleeping together?
So many questions, so much time to wait.
Game Of Thrones returns 14 April in the US and 15 April in the UK.
