Maisie Williams’ new TV series about the Sex Pistols has landed a premiere window this spring.
Pistol will see the Game of Thrones star take on the role of Pamela Rooke – aka Jordan – in the FX series from Danny Boyle.
It’s now been confirmed that the show will make its debut in May, so keep your eyes peeled for an exact premiere date closer to the time.

The show is set to consist of six episodes, focusing on the iconic punk band and their rise to fame in the 1970s.
Rooke was a central part of the punk scene, working with Dame Vivienne Westwood and attending early gigs by the Sex Pistols.
Also set to star are Anson Boon as frontman Johnny Rotten, Jacob Slater as drummer Paul Cook, Louis Partridge as bassist Sid Vicious and Emma Appleton as Nancy Spungen.

A first glimpse at Arya Stark actress Williams was revealed earlier last year, showing her in character with Rooke’s famous look.
“Imagine breaking into the world of The Crown and Downton Abbey with your mates and screaming your songs and your fury at all they represent,” Boyle – who is directing and executive producing – previously said of the show. “This is the moment that British society and culture changed forever.
“It is the detonation point for British street culture, where ordinary young people had the stage and vented their fury and their fashion and everyone had to watch and listen and everyone feared them or followed them.”
Pistol will air on FX from May. Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray. Spin-off House of the Dragon is now filming and will premiere in 2022.
