Natalie Dormer was left fuming over what became of her on screen family in Game Of Thrones because she had become ‘protective’ of the Tyrells.

Natalie played Margaery Tyrell on the show and met a horrific end when she was blown to hell in season six.

Margaery’s grandmother Lady Olenna, played by Diana Rigg, continued to scheme in season seven but met her maker during the sacking of Highgarden which wiped out House Tyrell.

Natalie was upset to see what became of her family.

She told Mashable: ‘Just looking at how gorgeous High Garden was — and when the High Garden soldiers were all dead on the floor I felt, you know, protective.

‘It was so stupid. It was that little bit of Margaery that’s still in the back of my brain.

‘She couldn’t help but think, “Men wearing my sigil, lying in a pool of their own blood on the floor”. I was like, “Who’s done this to my home!?”‘

The final season of the hit HBO show is on the way, and fans should expect Daenerys Targaryen to get up to some wild s**t.

Star Emilia Clarke recently said that her character’s final moments are ‘weird’.

Emilia recently teased that Daenerys gets up to some things that are ‘f****d up’.

‘Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavour in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…I’m doing all this weird s**t.

‘You’ll know what I mean when you see it.’

She also said the cast are filming multiple endings to make sure no one gives the game away.

There’s lots of different endings that could happen; I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen,’ she added to The Hollywood Reporter.
