Nikolaj Coster-Waldau won’t name names, but some of the older actors in Game of Thrones could get a little carried away. He means they were divas, not team players, and the actor does a terrific impression of that bunch.
“Oh, it’s too f***ing hot! I’m going to complain about this piece of shit! Where do I sit?” he roars, playing the part of the parody thespian to its outer limits.
Somebody on set, though, wouldn’t let these gentlemen get away with their nonsense. “You just didn’t mess with her,” Coster-Waldau says. “She had so much bite in a very funny way, and you can’t win when somebody is funnier and cleverer than you.” That person? Diana Rigg, of course.
