Game Of Thrones star Pilou Asbaek has teased how Euron could make show history in the final season, by doing ‘two things only a few people have done’ in its entire run.
The cast assembled for the UK premiere of the final season in Belfast, where Kit Harington, Joe Dempsie, Maisie Williams and more all appeared.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the premiere event, Pilou Asbaek, who plays Euron, teased what to expect from his character in the final six episodes.
‘I got some good moments in season eight,’ Pilou said. ‘I do two things only a few people have done in Game Of Thrones, which I’m very proud of.
‘Things are looking good for me.’
The end of season seven saw Euron set sail to collect The Golden Company army for Cersei Lannister, but what exactly these two ‘things’ could be is a mystery.
Kill someone at a wedding? Get their head chopped off? We’ll have to wait and see.
Speaking about joining the show, Pilou added: ‘When you’re an actor you always want to be part of something successful because success equals more jobs and better pay, it’s that simple.
‘I knew when I became a part of Game Of Thrones this is one of the biggest shows in the world so that was not a concern of mine. It was just buckle up and enjoy it.
‘I was a massive fan, had seen all five seasons prior, but the moment I became a part of it, I had not seen anything since because now I know how they make the dragon and it’s a little guy with a green stick and a tennis ball, and it’s like “look at the dragon, look at the dragon”. You’re like, that’s it?’
Game Of Thrones season eight kicks off on 14 April on Sky Atlantic and HBO.
