What’s ineffective may not at all die — along with barely embarrassing footage of the Game of Thrones stars from their early years on the current.
HBO has launched a sneak peek at the Thrones reunion explicit, which is ready to fully be accessible on the current’s limited-edition Blu-ray set, releasing Tuesday, Dec. 3.
In the clip above, reunion host Conan O’Brien cues up some behind-the-scenes footage from Thrones‘ first season, along with glimpses at a baby-faced Gear Harington, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright.
Now that the fantasy drama has ended, it’s significantly satisfying to take heed to the youthful actors discuss their hopes for the current. “I can’t wait to see what battle may be like,” a pint-sized Wright says (uh, pretty brutal, actually!), whereas Turner effuses, “Oh my gosh, I am in medieval situations! I’m not in 2009 anymore!”
And it seems Turner’s real-life friendship with Williams was inevitable from the start. “I consider we’re going to be friends for a very very long time,” Turner beams, accompanied by transient footage of her and Williams’ auditions for the HBO assortment.
Together with the reunion explicit, Game of Thrones: The Full Assortment will operate all eight seasons of the current, in addition to deleted and extended scenes, animated histories and lore gadgets, behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentaries and the full documentary Game of Thrones: The Remaining Watch, which beforehand aired on HBO in May.
