Game of Thrones has been a success on screen, and HBO has managed to replicate the success with off-screen counterparts as well. As you know, Game of Thrones has a recently released mobile game named Game of Thrones: Conquest, which we had talked about, but it looks like HBO won’t stop there. It has now partnered up with Behaviour Interactive to develop a mobile Game of Thrones strategy game. Read on!

Behaviour Interactive is the developer behind games like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, and now it is set to add Game of Thrones, which looks like it will fit in well in its portfolio. The free-to-play game will be developed in partnership with Chinese developer and publisher GAEA Technology, which is behind games like Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and Rise & Rule: Four Kingdoms, which is a mobile strategy Game that borrows heavily from Game of Thrones itself.

Behaviour Interactive CEO Rémi Racine says that their team members are “ardent fans” of the show, which is a good news. GAEA CEO Yanzhi Wang also weighed in :

“[We’re] excited to team up with Behaviour Interactive…[W]e aim to provide fans and gamers worldwide with an extensive Game of Thrones adventure on mobile devices.”

HBO VP of Licensing and Retail, also gave a comment:

“The Game of Thrones fan base is highly engaged and stretches across all corners of the globe. Our job is to give those fans engaging new ways to immerse themselves in the world of the show, and we’re excited to see what innovative ideas Behaviour brings to the table.”

Other details like title and release date are yet unknown, but we’ll update you on it as we hear about it. What do you think about this? Excited to play? Tell us in the comments, down below!
