  1. This feels a bit one sided, lannister good traits not considered Lannister-ish just to verify the negative attitude toward them.
The characteristics of Lannisters fits a lion as it meant to you cant discard nobility and honor when you talk about dignity, or selfishness as an indicator of the betterment of the world o those who are important to one, just to brand the lannisters "evil" at your whim.
A snake to them as symbol is unfitting, they did not prioritize on intellect and caution, they ware the most true to themselves and least backstabbing, if one thing is common in Lannister' is the desire to power and prestige, while keeping a some dignity to present authenticity. All of them fortios and courageous against all ads all the time. Jaime run to dragon out of pride in hope to end the war is the best example why they are deserving to their symbol.
Do a lass biased analysis next time. ~ Now hear my roar! 😀

  2. The male lion is often seen as a symbol of kingly nobility but in real life the male lion has nothing to back that up. Only looking at it’s real life peers (and not the other GOT animals)Amongst the big cats he is not the fastest, biggest or best hunter. He was given the title of “king” because he simply looks the part. This could also be in reference to the Lannisters being more powerful in reputation than actual power.

  3. I disagree. A Lannister always pays his debts means that they'll treat you how ever you treat them… now… any slight on their honor and they'll wreck you and if they believe you aren't actually a good person, you're just doing it for your own gain they won't treat you well. It's not always money that the debt is payed in.

  4. So what do y'all think will happen now that Cersei is pregnant?? Will she die before she gives birth? Is she faking it? She thinks she's pregnant but really it's just menopause??? I can't wait to find out

  5. Funny how Lannisters are typically beautiful and flawless on the outside but ugly on the inside. And Tyrion is the complete opposite and will probably be the downfall of the house. Although Jaime is arguably both, he certainly wasn't a nice person before he got his hand cut off which could be seen as ugly idk.

  6. Lol at Tyrion not truly being a Lannister at heart. Nearly all the characters in the books admit that he is Tywin writ small, more so than a rash, impatient Cersei and a carefree, unambitious Jaime. In addition to being cunning, Tyrion can be extremely ruthless based on personal saltiness — strangling Shae (who was probably coerced into testifying, and in the books, was totally unarmed during her murder), telling fake Aegon to invade Westeros and kill thousands just to fuck with Cersei, etc.

  7. Season 7 rolled out a change of colors. Cersei has turned the Lannisters black… I think that is intended to represent that she no longer cares about perception… it's also one of the colors of the Targareyans… which I think is meant to intensify her mirror image to the Mad King by season 8.

  8. Well first it is a great video keep it up, secondly that's not all true about the symbolism of Lannisters cuz you forgot to mention how Lannisters prooves them selves to be the greatest even the mad king him self which is a Targaryan was jalious of Tywin's great character and also their army said to be the well deciplined army of hole westeros so what i wanted to say is you covered the inner and bad side ( more of the bad side it was like you tried to put them as villains but there's no such thing like hero and vilain in GOT) of the Lannisters but you forget to mention their good side, their strengh, thus you shall not forget that "a Lion still has claws" .
