Jon is going to reject his Targaryen heritage, and continue on. It'll be a bigger deal to Dany and the rest than it will be to him!
She is a real life reddit alien
The Night King still has to go through Karhold and the Last Hearth before Winterfell
you guys are such party poopers
or after they kill the night king their must always be a night king and jon takes the night kings place and goes way up north
I think Jon was brought back to get Dany pregnant and then he will go out in a blaze of glory!
Lol if she gets pregers it would be his cousin son
You guys are way too easy on the show.
As for theories, mine's pretty out there: what if Sansa and Gendry fall for each other? Think about it, Sansa first fell for Joffery who was a Baratheon in name but not blood, so what if she fell for Gendry who's a Baratheon in blood but not name? It is the kind of irony that George R.R. Martin loves.
With the Azor Ahai prophesy, could Jon kill Dany?
Make it a montage
Don't you think Sansa and Arya conspired with Bran within the same scene that Bran handed Arya the dagger? That conversation very easily could have gone to "Where did you get this… etc."
I consider everything they did to Littlefinger since Season 5 to be vandalism. They took a brilliant manipulator and turned him into a creepy, weak moron. Handing Sansa to the Boltins was the first mistake that ruined him. Am I to accept that this careful calculating man would risk everything to get Sansa out of KL just to give her to the Boltins? There was no upside and all risk. If anybody had told Cersie what he did, he dies. They destroyed his character just to keep Sophie Turner on screen. Then, this whole thing with the Stark girls makes no sense either. What was the point of going through that charade? Sansa didn't gain anything. They knew the same things at the end of the season that they knew once Brandon told them what Peter had done. The whole thing was a waste. This was terrible writting. I also can't overstate how lame it is to have an all knowing character come and blow up everyone's secrets. I wish Brandon had been killed before he got back to Winterfell. There are more interesting ways to reveal secrets.
I also have to wonder how much their intentions for Littlefinger changed after the Twitter outrage that followed Sansa's wedding. I suspect quite a lot. If that is true, what a shame.
I guess Dany made Daario wear a condom. Good thing, cause that guy def has herpes
We've seen flashes of the madness of the Targaryan's in Dany this season, even towards those in her council. I think the revelation of Jon Snow's true lineage is going to cause mistrust in him, just as Tyrion's has caused mistrust, and it will ultimately lead to Dany falling into full blown madness and trying to kill Jon, but being that they are in the north, such an attempt will prove fatal. Because Snow, Stark, or Targarayan…they are behind Jon. His name doesn't change who he is.
Also, the children of the forest created the whites. There could be a way for for Quiburn (spelling?) to create his own undead army, and there are a million people in Kingslanding. Don't really know what to go with that.
Guys I just worhship game of thrones because it just keeps gets better and better. Every series is just dope. Cast are so amazing as well! Super up for next series
Sansa was going to marry Sweet Robin, and she didn't bat a eye. Marriages between cousins, Aunts, Nephews, Niece's, and Uncles is common in Westeros. Ned's mother and father were cousins, Tywins, wife (Jaime, Cersei, and Tyrion's mom) were cousins. Jon's ultimate hurdle, will not be the fact that he boned his aunt, but the fact that "Jon Snow" is just a mask made to hide him from King Robert.
Calling it now Jon or Danni die early next season.
Not knowing his identity proves Jon and Dany belong together regardless of family connection. Either Sansa or Arya will probably marry their cousin SweetRobin of the Eyrie so who cares what Jon does. He and Dany will unite the North and South without the use of Dragons which is the way it should be. People will bend the knee because they are honorable and good. They will save the world and prove they are fit to rule without having to burn everyone up like the Targaryens of old. People feared them because they had dragons so they followed their rule. They will break the wheel. Just think, their kids will be able to warg into direwolves AND ride dragons – how cool is that?!
In medieval times, biblical times and even today (Queen Elizabeth/Prince Philip are cousins) royalty marry within their family so who cares. It's a period TV show at the end of the day. People shouldn't place today's values on the author's storytelling ability and ruin the outcome because it's on modern TV. jmo
hmmm wonder what deal the dwarf make
So season 8 will release when I graduate, after 6 years. That could be my gift from HBO
How about the fact that if Jamie does indeed go to Winterfell, there will be 4 Valylrian steel swords and a dagger all in one spot? Jon has Longclaw, Brienne has Oathkeeper, Jamie has Widows Wail, Sam has Heartsbane, and Arya has the Catspaw dagger. I wonder if Sam will give his to someone, and if so, who? Maybe Jorah? Maybe Pod? This has to be the highest concentration of Valyrian steel ever in one place.
Hey Terri, did any of you all notice that when the white walkers were marching at the end of the episode, they formed a wolf? Theoretically does it have to do with the Stark's?
Now the Jon name reveal takes me back over this season how many times Aegon the Conqueror was mentioned in conversation. Make me think that is the Aegon R&L were naming him after. Also, it probably has something to do with Rhaegar's obsession with the prince that was promised prophecy. We may never actually know until Winds of Winter comes out.
Anyone who thought that Jon would find out about his heritage this season is stupid
Nice warlock necklace!
Omg IGN and NERDIST need to have a episode together either before the last season starts to talk about what do they predict or at the end of season to hear more opinions on how the show came to an end cause OMG YOU ALL JUST NEED TO THEORIZE/CHAT ABOUT G.O.T!!!
Danny is pregnant 100% why reinforce she can't give birth in episodes back to back
Prediction, Dany gets pregnant and Jon defeats the night king but dies and their kid rules in the end.
since when did these two pieces of American Cheese pass for watchable personalities? christ its like giving a microphone to the gleek club
am i the only one interested about a jamie and bran reunion?
Robert's Rebellion was started because when Rickard and his son Brandon went to King Landing to get Lyanna Stark back Mad King Aerys killed them. He roasted Rickard alive while Brandon watched with a noose around this throat and choked to death trying to get a sword just out of his reach to save his Father. Then King Aerys demanded that Jon Arryn send Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark to Kings Landing to swear fealty. This is when the Vale, the North and the Stormlands (Riverlands too I assume) rose up against the crown.
But I guess the question is why didn't Rhaegar or Lyanna let people know that they had willingly married? I don't know but Lyanna was betrothed to Robert so there would still have been a problem.
Arya, go back to the faceless men, go to the restricted section get a rare face of a white walker, slip into the night kings army with her dagger, stab the night king and all is well (:
you guys do a great job with this show. makes the wait til next season even worse now that i cant listen to you guys discuss episodes and theories every week
Jaime is heading for Winterfell, which means we get a Jaime/Bran reunion. I'm pretty excited for that.
Stop with the "in the books" already. This is a show about the SHOW!
What if Jamie comes to join the fight. Dany sentences him to death based on him killing her father. Arya takes his face and heads south to Kill Cerseias Jamie because she is not living up to her agreement to not take back westeros.
Do you think that when Jaime said "I don't believe you" he meant her being pregnant? Since she's been pretty deceptive this season i still think that she's lying about being pregnant anyway and used it on Jamie and Tyrion to get an advantage
DonutMan, what is the meaning of life?
Jamie will die, and Arya will use his face to confront and kill Cersei, which will still fit with the prophecy that Cersei will die at the hands of her little brother
I arrange most likely to least likely to die among the surviving main characters:
1. Cersei
2. Jaime
3. Tormund
4. The Hound
5. Theon
6. Melisandre
7. Varys
8. Bronn
9. Brienne
10. Jorah
11. Gendry
12. Davos
13. Arya
14. Dany
15. Jon
16. Tyrion
17. Sansa
18. Bran
19. Gilly
20. Sam
