Jon has known that Bran is alive since season 4, when Sam told him. So it’s pretty baffling that he says he thought Bran was dead.

I was incorrect about the dragonglass in the show, I am sorry…..Its even more stupid than I made it out to be. Tormund uses a normal axe so the polar bear fight isn’t over in two seconds. Then out of nowhere, he pulls out an obsidian axe, at the exact moment the plot needs him to do that. Meanwhile Jon and Beric are still destroying wights like it’s nobody’s business. Why do we even need dragonglass? Part 8 was meant to be longer, but I just got tired of arguing the dragonglass issue in the comments, and Nedd the feminist slow clapping Arya the warrior princes, the same Nedd that made Arya sew.
Fire kills wights. Does it really? Is the bear a wight? Yes, did it die from fire? No, did it instantly die from a dragonglass dagger to the eye? Yes. Oke thx bye.

It is funny, but first of all, fire works on wights just bear is larger and needs more time for him to die, that is what I think, also if valyrian steel kills white walkers(hardhome) we should think based on assumption that kills wights too
