The formidable being is best known for being Cersei’s right hand man in Game Of Thrones, often used to dispatch her enemies in gruesome and horrifying ways.
But actor and strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who’s played the character since season 4, has gone all romantic and married the love of his life, revealing the news to his Instagram followers.
Sharing an image of himself carrying his new bride, he wrote: ‘It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!’
The pair appeared to have married in his native Iceland given the terraine in their photos and the fact Kelsey tagged an Icelandic wedding photographer in her own photo.
She wrote: ‘Looking forward to pulling this big guy around for the rest of my life.
‘@thorbjornsson I love you now and forever and promise to stand by your side through all that life throws at us. I love you baby!’
The actor, also the world’s strongest man, and his girlfriend have been together since 2017 after meeting in a bar in Canada. Kelsey, who stands at 5’2 against his 6’9, asked the Game Of Thrones star for a picture and they are said to have hit it off from there.
A fan once asked how the pair kiss given their vast height difference, and she revealed: ‘ahha he bends, I tip toe. Or just say screw it, pick me up!’
Björnsson is thought to be returning in the final series of Game Of Thrones, airing in 2019.
