I'm not convinced that Bran is the night king, mostly because I don't think he would go through such an epic journey for him to end up trapped in a zombie-esque character with no autonomy. I have another theory that I haven't seen online about the old three-eyed raven and Bran. I made a video on my page and would love to hear your thoughts.

I think Bran is the night king, it explains everything and his motives, to cross the wall and kill Bran (human Bran) to end the misery of being trapped.

Stupid theory. It happend in the past so it will happen just like with Hodor. The White Walkers were made, so they will be made everytime. The Three-eyed Raven said it himself, ''the past is still the past, and cannot be changed.'' Oh and Bran is holding the roots because it enhances his Greenseer.

i like the theory that Bran is the old Three Eyed Raven, and that he also was talking to Aerys, but all Aerys could hear was whispers and it turned him mad

The dragon shadow over King's landing must have been from Drogon flying to Dragon Pit in season 7E7. The Night's king couln't fly there on such a sunny day. He would bring winter storm with him.

The books heavily imply that Bran is important to the Others and their god in some way, so he probably will become affiliated with them somehow even if it's not specifically this theory.
Night King walks on several occasions: hard home, frozen lake, white fortress. Bran is not supposed to walk again, but rather fly. Theory busted: Bran will not become the Night King, and probably not become Bran the builder (there are no mentions of Bran the builder to have any impediments, that I know of).
This might actually be legit per MAJOR FORESHADOWING IN BRANS SECOND CHAPTER IN THE FIRST BOOK ABOUT HIS CLIMBING HABIT AND HOW IT GOT OUT OF HAND – After listening to second bran chapter – climb- incest witness – the stories of his shenanigans climbing and how his family mostly mom forbid him but he didn't go longer than a week without going back to it.
