This theory had turned into a joke.
If mer folk have a type of shape shifting ability, as is the case in many stories about them, then it does not matter about robes , shoes , feet, genitals.
I laugh so much just by reading "Varys is a mermaid"
Could Varys be a Squisher though?
Merman Varys is legitimately scary, scarier than the white walkers to be sure. He could look human and then have the head of an angler fish when you turn back around.
2016 everyone thinks this
maybe varys is rhaegar
Varys is bald, sneaky and travels through the sewers. He's no merman, he's a Ninja Turtle.
this is stupid but very entertaining 🙂
nerdist video has ripped you off.
You see his shoes, when he walk away from Tyrion, when both are in the city (Game of Thrones s06e08, No One, 11.10min)
It's time to stop! FilthyFrank voice
So, Varys is a merling because giants exist…
This is ridiculous. But very enjoyable. Lol
I honesty think there is more evidence for this than R + L = D. But people buy it cause it's more believable than varys with flippers
>Ned enters TOJ
>Lyanna is in the pool of blood
>Howland Reed is there
>Lyanna: "Varys is a mermaid, but don't tell anyone."
>Ned looks at Howland
>"Promise me, Ned!"
He has just shown his feet in episode 1 of season 6!!!!! Theory proven wrong.
few months since this. a man needs his fix
"We don't even know where he's from." You mean Lys?
And it's IL-LEER-EE-O you moron.
Seems plausible until you remember there are stairs in King's landing…
"It's always summer, under the sea… I know I know, oh, oh, oooooh…"
I think I heard him try to stop himself from laughing in the last few seconds of this video
Don't be silly. The fish half of merlings is the top half. How else could the legendary Grey King have had children with his mermaid wife? And how would they breathe if the top half was human?
I love how we can hear you trying to hold back laughter as you were recording this.
Maybe I just don't get it, but I only clicked on this because it sounded ludicrous, aaaand I felt that my preconceptions were almost immediately validated.
