Does Norse mythology hold the answers to how Game of Thrones or ASOIAF will end? This video is doing a character comparison between Game of Thrones and Norse mythology and what it could mean for how game of thrones will end? Is Rhaegar coming back? Who is who? Theories are so much fun! Who are the Starks, Lannisters and Targaryens compared to norse mythology? Lets test this theory! Thanks for baring with me while I learn to edit and narrate! 1. it's odd that ASOIF and GoT use influence from so many sources; Norse Mythology, War of the Roses, Norman Conquest, etc. Yet I've seen so many videos that think GRRM is retelling Ragnarok.

  2. Just a thought – in the books, Aegon/Young Griff is depicted as Rhaegar reborn. And, following the parallels with Norse mythology a little further – Robert/Thor is dead, which suggests Ragnarok has already occurred (War of the Five Kings?), so Aegon/Young Griff/Baldur could represent that first stage of rebirth…
