Game of Thrones Theory Was Catelyn Stark/ Lady Stoneheart in 7×04?

They've only a handful of episodes left with far too much plot to get thru. There's no hope in hell they can introduce another element to the show.

I feel like GoT had so many plot holes this season that it's believable that they had continuity errors with extras

So if it was Catelyn, wouldn't they have revealed that to us before the scene and whole season ended? Why would they stage that detail if they didn't want us to see it?

Its a reach, the show has obviously gotten away from subtle hidden messages and meanings and has adopted obvious heavy in your face foreshadowing

It could be just an easter egg, probably the 1st and last time we will ever see Lady Stoneheart cause it's way too late for her to be relevant since there's only 6 episodes left for GOT to end.

It could be but "Lady Stoneheart" has grey hair not reddish so I think this was just a servant passing by…

All of these people calling you crazy for bringing this up clearly don't understand how the writer's minds work. What's crazy is how many times presumably minor characters or conversation are brought back in a big way. It's maybe too late for Lady Stoneheart, but as you said this is a cool easter egg at least.

There is also a man walking by too.  Maybe they just thought no one would notice the same woman would keep walking by?

3:52 when Arya spin the sword right before the fight you can see woman comming from behind wall as well. i guess its just a random persons to fill up backgrounds nothing special about it,

If you go back to episode one, the very first episode at 20:26 Catelyn is walking away and when walking through the arch thing, she looks exactly the same as in this scene.

They've essentially usurped her story line in the TV show by giving it to Arya. If they decide to bring her back as a ghost rather than a resurrected person for a one off, I would assume its to bring some satisfying closure to Littlefingers storyline.

When walking fast I do a kilometer in ~12 minutes, which would translate to about 85 meters in one minute. That's a little bit short for the trip around that courtyard, but remember that they clip the fighting scenes a lot, so it probably isn't exactly the time we're shown. I think they simply have a couple of extras walking circles around the place instead of trying to time their one second appearance with the dialogue. Then you get extras passing by appropriately random, and it seems a lot easier than having to also time in extras every time you retake a scene.

Interesting. I wouldn't have put much thought into it but Arya saying that and her walking by twice is pretty interesting

she says don't worry I won't cut you and then later on she cuts brine and after she does thats where u see the lady walk past. Is this referring to the greys saying they provide safety to the Starks then "cut" them by killing them??

What amazes me here is the walk and posture. That is exactly how lady Catelyn used to be. Yet, I think Briene should have noticed if it were Lady stark as she was very close to her before and this time, lady Stark walked twice infornt of her. Also, it could be that she was so amazed by watching a different Arya. So it is plausible that she missed lady Stark. So over all, I think it is highly plausible.

Saying that a background character is Catelyn stark is like saying everybody at the crowd at neds execution was the faceless man , this theory is random and besides if order for her to be resurrected the leader of the brotherhood without banners would have to die

it would be one of the coolest wtf moments of the show maybe she will walk out of the shadows when or if jon gets back to winterfell. if we see this woman again in the next 3 episode in te background . then dan and dave are up to something . i hope it is he . so she and jon can have that moment to say im sorry for what i didnt . you did nothing wrong . ned stayed true to me … after jon finds out hes ned,s sisters kid .

I don't know a lot about Game of Thrones but I think the dress that she is wearing is too distinct and recognizable to be a mistake so i'm thinking that she could be some kind of spirit that's stalking the two of them or maybe even a witch. Another reason that this could be the case is the way she walks and how she sort of looks down at the ground is almost as if she's soulless. Great video by the way.
