This is the top 10 monologues from Game of Thrones season 1-4 IMO.

Did I leave one out? Comment and let me know

  1. These are all awesome! But I would have to include Catelyn's monologue in Season 3 where she talks about Jon Snow having the pox as a baby. It's such an emotional scene and shows us the complexity of Catelyn's character.

  2. "appropriate for a man with so many songs to sing" Ace line. Can't believe I nearly started crying at the Oberyn Tyrion chat Dinklage acted the shit out of that scene, the way he tears up but they don't roll, AMAZING

  3. While Cersei's display of power has impact, in the end, is shallow. In season 2, Lord Varys has his own monologue about how "Power resides where men believe it resides" (it should be here). That's why we see it coming back to bite her in the ass in season 5.

  4. number 9 should have been the beginning of an awesome dark Sansa of learning to play the game lil b** but instead they made her this pantywaist little whiny brat again in the next season entire season of character development just wasted.

  5. That scene in the tub (with jaime & brienne) is good, but the end of it was awful…
"By what right does the wolf condemn the lion" (or something like that.) That line was delivered poorly,

  6. CHAOS isn't a pit….CHAOS is a LADDER………….. many who try to climb it fail….never get to try again……the fall breaks them……………………..and some, are given the chance to climb…. but they refuse, they cling to the realm…or the gods…. or love….ILLUSIONS…only the ladder is real….The climb is all there is..
