Also one has to appreciate where Lena Headey took that character from season 1 to now. Ever since she lost all her children and rules her gaze has become more hateful, but also powerful. Her facial expression is frozen to a spiteful tiny smirk. Watch her watch Jaime confess he met with Tyrion, which she already knew. "What did our brother have to say?" She grew from being dangerous woman in the royal court to a terrifying ruler.
Such a beautifully written and acted tv villain. Perfectly complex, more black than white but with wonderful grey areas. A woman resenting her place in society being traded off like cattle, and not wanting to have it done to her again when she played her role for 20 years and is in a position of real power as Queen Mother. The victim of an emotionally abusive father. And a tormenter and abuser of power for others. Brilliant strategist and ruthless executioner. Brilliant villain.
The show would be so much less without her.

Cersei is the my favorite character on the show. She always finds herself at the top of a situation no matter who the other person is or how much power they have. A lot people underestimated her and that is why a lot of them are dead.

Yes I love only cerci on the show. If she is killed off I'm done. Fuck the white walkers , Its like watching the walking dead.wish I don't watch. Cerci is the best actress on this show , with lines that she delivers like no other .but she is underrated because of Jon snow . Her issues aside, Cersei is the very first person I think of when I think of Game of Thrones. She's great. I also loved how she burned the High Sparrow and his zealot murderers with green fire, even though she did create that problem. In the end she killed all of her enemies in Kings Landing with one strike.. brilliant.
