Game of Thrones vet Carice van Houten previews her new show Red Light

Carice van Houten (Melisandre) drops a teaser for her new show, and Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) defends himself from Bitcoin scammers.

Game of Thrones veteran Carice van Houten (Melisandre) isn’t keeping idle in quarantine. She recently uploaded a teaser for her upcoming Dutch-language show Red Light, about three women involved in the worlds of prostitution and sex trafficking. Take a look:

Van Houten and fellow star Halina Reijn are both creative producers on the show, which will air on Dutch TV this year.

Van Houten isn’t the only Game of Thrones star making waves on social media, although the others are taking it a little easier. For example, Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) gave us an inside look at her quarantine hair-care routine:

On a more serious note, Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) is defending himself after his likeness has been misappropriated as part of a Bitcoin scam in Norway:

“We have been made aware that the likeness of Kristofer Hivju has been misused in a bitcoin scam in Norway,” reads a statement from the Panorama Agency, which represents Hivju. “Panorama Agency wants to make it clear that this is false advertisement and a false story and is something neither Hivju nor the Agency has any part in.”

Weirdly, this isn’t the first time the likeness of a Game of Thrones star has been used without permission to try and sell Bitcoin; it happened to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) a while back.

Finally, just so we end on a slightly happier note, Maisie Williams posted a pair of photos, of “me and my inner saboteur”:
