While we wait for Season 7, here’s a little recap about the leading women of the series.

I am much looking forward to where Season 7 will take the remaining players of the game, with Cersei now reigning over the seven kingdoms (or actually none?). Daenerys and her armies finally set sail for Westeros, backed up by Houses Martell, Greyjoy, and Tyrell. Sansa may claim the Vale through marrying Robin, and thus, with Jon, control both the northern and eastern regions, ie. over half (given the size of the north) of Westeros. For Cersei, that leaves only the Lannister-governed west and potential alliance with Euron’s army.

Either Daenerys or Sansa could end Cersei’s rule, and may well end up on winning the Iron Throne. Popular predictions / theories suggest it will be Daenerys, the one who’s dream it has been since the beginning. But the throne going to someone who hasn’t sought personal power is a more plausible choice in my opinion, so I’d love to see the show end with either Tyrion or a Stark on the throne. Perhaps King Jon Snow with Sansa or Tyrion as his adviser. Or Sansa and Jon ruling together.

  6. I think that Sansa and Deanerys will work together to take the Thorne and give it to Deanerys because she has more power, with many soldiers in her armies, two dragons, loyal dothrakis and many other powerful things

  17. of the four that is left i hope Sansa will win (if Margaery was still alive i would have chosen her because she is perfect)
    But the others all have problems which made me doubt they could win:
    – Dany, everything goes way to easier for her the moment she got her dragon.
    – Cersei, evil and 6/7 kingdoms hate her
    – Yara, she isn't a big player, the only person she has a connection to his her brother and now Dany.

  18. This is one of the best edits I have ever seen. You truly captured their different personalities and the ending was just perfect. "Any man who must say I am the king is no true king" and Sansa is definitely the true queen, her knowledge, not only of westeros but of the game, her quiet strenght and her kindness make her the right ruler

  21. I have read that "Prince that was promised" can be actually a princess, I mean a woman.I always thought it would be Deny or Jon ❤ but I also think that Sansa can be a great queen

  22. Amazing video. I never realized before how much i started to root for Sansa. I was all for Dany in the first seasons and absolutely hated Sansa. But since season 6 Dany somehow started to irritate me so much while Sansa finally grew up I guess. Also, i already miss Margaery. Can't believe she won't be in the next season

  26. Amazing work! Perfectly shows the strong personalities of the female lead characters. I particularly love the ending. Where did you get that last scene where Tyrion says "Welcome home, my queen"? That was amazing.
    The only thing I don't like as much is the yellowish filter you used, I'd prefer a more subtle filter or none at all. Still very well done!

  27. Literally no one of them achieved some actual shit in the show.

    Sansa Stark only "success" was caused by Littlefinger, she also screwed her father´s plan. And also caused innumerable casualties for the Jon´s army.

    Daenerys Targaryen is a narcistic semi-psychopath using idiotic morals as her excuse.

    Cersei Lannister like, did so many things wrong there is no point listing them.

    Margaery Tyrell like did little to nothing, she just influenced the 3 Baratheons she married, and ultimately failed against Cersei, of all people.

    Yara Greyjoy, well raided some villages, took some fort and then failed to save her brother from a naked moron, didn´t manage to convince anyone she is good at anything and lost to the show Euron "big cock" Greyjoy, of all people.

    Yeah I think I´ll take a king over any of those queen any day.

    I loved the bit where Tyrion says 'It's a beautiful dream, stopping the wheel, you're not the first to dream it'
    and then it flashes to Sansa, just the tiniest detail makes the whole thing! x

  33. I love how you managed to capture the essence of each one of them, by "opposing" them in a way. My favourite part was when you have Cersei, Margeary and Dany speak of the people – the contrast between Margeary and Dany's kind hearts ("The lowest among us are no different from the highest if we give them a chance" 'I will not let those I freed slide back into slavery") and Cersei's ruthlessness and utter lack of care ("Haha, the people, you think I care?") is just perfect.

    I enjoyed the way you put the scenes and dialogue together, it was very well done, especially the part with Dany saying "Everything you give me will be repaid three times over when I reclaim the Iron Throne" speech over her riding Drogon – I am sure if that man from Qarth heard from her afterwards, he deeply regretted not having believed in her when she came to him a "beggar queen".

    I also liked the subtle hint at Margaery's being Cersei's nemesis ("This is what ruling is, sleeping on a bed of WEEDS, pulling them by the ROOTS before they strangle you in your sleep" while the camera pans on Margaery), the parallel between weeds/roots and the Tyrell sigil made me smile.

    I also think Sansa will be the queen in the end. "I am Yara Greyjoy, daughter of Balon Greyjoy – I claim the Salt Throne" – Margaery's numerous "I am the queen!" upon being captured, Dany's "I am Danerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, and I will take what is mine!" and OFC Cersei's incalculable "I am the QUEEN!" tantrums, all of those moments reminding me of one epic Tywin Lannister quote: "Any man who must say I am the king is no true king". I suppose this is true for women and queens, too 🙂

  36. The intro is so perfect. It sets the mood and then Sansa at the end is just the perfect full circle. Omg i can't even express how amazing this video is. It is absolutely amazing and you are very very talented at editing.

  40. This is really gorgeous. I think that Margaery was the best queen out of all of them when it came to being Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. If I had my way, Margaery made it out, but she is most likely dead so my second choice would be Sansa since she knows so much about Westeros and politics.

  44. I think Sansa will make a great ruler she is stronger and smarter than Dany in my opinion, not to mention she's grown up in westeros her while life, and suffered years of abuse and losing her family but she is still compassionate
    and everyone loves the Starks, no ones a fan of the Targaryens the only reason the people are siding with her is because they hate the lannisters more

  46. Aaaw this was so beautiful and the choice of music was so empowering! The voice overs really made the video moving and it showed how passionate the characters in the show are which really interested me and made me smile because I love it when characters can prove their importance (if that makes any sense) – and an eight minute video… what a treat! I was watching this with the biggest smile on my face. Sansa is so beautiful <3 I feel like, usually, when I watch videos that are about a bunch of characters it confuses me a little but this certainly didn't! You made it all make sense and you must have picked out all the great parts from season 1-6 for it to truly be so fantastic. I really kinda wanna watch this show now… I know you said you wouldn't recommend it to under eighteens but idk, it honestly just looks really good. Perhaps by the time I get round to watching it I will be over eighteen since my 'to-watch' list is enormously long 😛 Really impressive video and it was so pretty. You never fail to impress me Rei, well done! 🙂
