  1. Jon didn't accept Stannis' offer for a few reasons. The first and biggest being Sansa. The second is Mel would not only want Jon to convert, but she also wants to burn the Weirwood tree at Winterfell. The third being a bad dream that he keeps having regarding the him in the Winterfell crypts, he doesn't believe that the spirits of the Stark Lords/Kings will accept him.

  2. Under this scenario, Sansa would be dead. You kinda ignored how ambitious and clever Ramsay is. He only needed a few good men to take out Stannis' army. And much like he bated Jon with Rickon at the battlefield, I can easily see Ramsay doing that with Sansa. OAO So under this scenario, Sansa is dead while Rickon lives.

Consequently, Littlefinger will remain since the show has made Sansa out to be his apprentice and the only character capable of keeping up with him. With Littlefinger still alive, the realm remains in danger, especially if he begins manipulating Rickon and convinces him to fight Jon for Winterfell.

Also, you can bet Sam will die too as he tries to protect Gilly. Even if he lives, Sam never gets permission to visit the Citadel to gather information or obtain his family sword. Remember, Jon became Lord Commander after he made up his mind to refuse Stannis. Jon's position gave him power to save Gilly and enable Sam to leave for the Citadel. So on this end, they are screwed. Worse, Sam never gets actual confirmation concerning Jon's parentage. While Bran will have the visions, he still needs proof of it.

  3. Hello ?? Stannis is dead !!!! Unless he has been turned into a white walker ….which in case the Night King is now his one true king . I really love the "what if" topics but to set aside from confusion ….it would seem to be much clearer if "past" characters were mentioned in past tense.

  5. Christ, that was almost as bad of a set of alternative plot points as the commenters who are shitting on you (all irrational Stannis fanboys) are proposing.

Though, with how many actions completely against the characters' (especially Jon) true selves must be taken to even create this alternate arc, no set of alternative plot points could ever be convincing or provocative.
