Funny thing about the Widow on the Waterfront, when she describes the contents of the ship Salaesori Qhoran (Fragrant Steward or Perfumed Seneschal) that carries the red priest Moqorro, one of the items is a corpse pickled in a barrel of brine.
I think this was a holdover paragraph during GRRM's numerous rewrites for the Meereenese Knot. This would have been the Cinnamon Wind with Marwyn the Mage on board (changed to Moqorro) transporting the corpse of Maester Aemon in brine heading to Dany in Meereen.
At 1:40. Is that a mistake? Jacquen et. al. were freed by Ned? Surely you mean Varys.
Carving a star into your forehead seems like a bad idea, especially with medieval technology and infections. Then again, Westeros is more medically advanced than our Middle Ages. But who would want to take that risk anyway?

Does anyone else remember how Ian McElhinney (the actor who portrayed Barristan Selmy) felt 'disappointed' after this episode…? 😡
I will never get over the death of Barristan. The kicker with that, is that the actor read the books, he loved Barristan. Yet, he had disagreements over how he was portrayed and thus was killed off.

The Sand Snakes’ “choose your weapon spear or tears” speech in the show is almost word for word except the show left out the fact that her mom wasn’t crying because Oberyn came to take away his daughter. She was crying because she sassed Oberyn and he responded by smacking her across the face as hard as he could.
Sure, posthumously turning a beloved character into a woman beater might not have played well but this is a series about complex characters who aren’t wholly good or evil.
