Then again, Sansa may not want to marry after two disastrous unions, nearly getting married to Joffrey, and suggestions of a betrothal to Robin Arryn.
However, Sansa is aware of the importance of legacy after she mentioned Bran couldn’t have children and questioned who would rule after him.
Perhaps Sansa could follow in the footsteps of Westeros with the North also becoming a democracy and the houses choosing a ruler.
With a democratic process in place, the power struggle between different houses could be mitigated.
On the other hand, Sansa was very clear about the North being separate to the rest of Westeros and having its own traditions separate from the other kingdoms on the continent.
So, she could just marry someone for convenience and keep a lover on the side.
