MABYE LONGCLAW WAS JUST WINKING AT THE NIGHT KING?
Quenched once in water ✔️, once in a lions heart (Tyrion) and once in the woman he loves
He is dead and is now a white walker
It happens repeatedly in episode 7 at the Dragon Pit. So it either has flaps over the eyes that were blowing in the breeze or they open and close. Does anyone know what the wolf is carved out of? if its weirwood then Bran can warg it.
The episode director, Alan Taylor says this was a drop of water or snow or something and completely unintended. My theory is that it shows Jon Snow is not Azor Ahai, but Kit Harington is.
Longclaw is a targaryen
Are there any images of the swords hilt from when Jon was dead, if the eyes are closed in those images too it shows that whilst in the water Jon died again and has been revived again. Remember how Ghost sensed he was alive shortly before he woke
Honestly I think we are going way 2 deep with this theoryes. I would say it is just a splash of the water
Ok, so I do go off on a tangent..
it's obviously i clear stone.. when jon puts his hand behind it you can see it through the jem
It can be the reflection from Jon Snow's gloves? Isn't it?
So I've been rewatching a few scenes that involve long claw and there is def something going on with the eyes.
Season 1 episode 9 at 14:05, the guys are talking about long claw's eyes and I think he says "he opened his eyes"
When gendry meets Jon, the eyes glow and flicker
When Ed picks up the sword, the eyes glow and flicker as well (the scene right before Sansa and brienne arrive at Castle black)
water drops on the sword
Its a Green Screen error. Anything made of glass likes to pick up green if in a room filled with it. This is what we call in the industry "Bleeding" when Green is somewhere where it was not intended. Not uncommon.
Sorry to say guys, but it is more than likely a Green screen error. This scene was shot on stage with a green screen background. As a VFX artist myself, I can tell you that glass has a nasty tendency to pick up a reflective green. Meaning if the green were removed in favor of a white or whatever they want background the eye would change too. And if that eye were to move even just the slightest, it would change color too. Its just a green screen mistake we like to call "Bleeding" where the green goes someone where it wasn't intended.
Theres a jewel/stone encrusted in the pommel you nitwits.. It keeps flashing everytime they show the sword in episode. Watch the jorah-john exchange when john tries to give jorah the sword.
Maybe the eyes only awaken when Jon is in control of the sword. Acting as a life force in a way. Bound by blood.
um……um……um……um……um
Longclaws eyes were open in (season 4 Ep 5 First of His Name) just before Jon lead the raid on the mutineers at Crasters Keep. Bran Jogen Hodor and Meera were all tied up.
reflection
Clearly was added in post.
Maybe there's a spiritual connection between both of them kinda like the motorcycle and Kamen Rider RX or Yusuke Urameshi and that blue bird.
Possibly this is Jon Snow's 2nd resurrection? 1st resurrection by fire (red woman/Davos), and 2nd resurrection by ice (drowning in frozen lake). Does this make Jon Snow now born in ice and fire? Is there anything alluding to this concept in the books?
Also, you missed one important detail about this scene. Viserion bled and died in this frozen lake, which makes Jon having drowned and/orsoaked in the blood of a dragon. Does this hold any significance? Does anyone have a theory on this?
You womble on for so long chatting shit! 😂
It may have happened before. Back in Season 6, Episode 2, when Davos grabs Longclaw and says forgive him since he isn't much of a fighter, when I freeze the shot it appears the eye looks closed there as well. Later, after Jon is revived, we get our next best view of the pommel in the next episode as he goes out to execute the traitors, the eye is fully opened.
Also in this episode, Jon says that the Lord of Light never spoke with him. Maybe he didn't because the "Lord of Light" would know that Jon would recognize his voice?
Longclaw is a secret Targaryen
The eye is made of glass or diamond and all u seeing is the colour change behind it but i hope im wrong
I think the eyes change just cause when jon crawls up he changes the way how the light hits the sword BUT if that is some kinda easter egg then it could mean that since Jon has dragon blood he may have the ability to control the ice dragon
Why is people so stupid? Is the water that wets the eyes.
Edit: Longclaw has a hole for his eyes, so whatever the background is, that is the color we can see. When Jon gave the sword to Jorah, the background passes from Jon's cloack to the snow behind, and then to Jorah's cloack, that's why it looks like a wink. The same with the other scene, it might not be the water but the color of the background, check it for yourself
You dont require that stupid music in the background
Changing the hilt wouldn't change the fact that it is a Valerian steel sword. What makes a Valerian steel sword is the blade which is never forged with the hilt.
Season 6 Promo shot of Jon shows Longclaw with blue eyes in 2015 after his resurrection: https://youtu.be/1laFI-2kkio
u didnt even show the part after it where he picks it up the eyes are black on the sword when he holds it
B R A N D O N S T A R K
Jon said to jurah he changed it to a wolf…. did you not watch the rest of GOT or just this scene??
Just saw this again on Sky demand thinking someone added it to make the fans go crazy but its true the eyes opened up. I think there is a soul trapped in there or somehow or someone touched it to activate it.
Problem is the eyes have always been open. The question is were they closed? Or were the eyes still open but white like when bran wargs. was bran warged into the weirwood pommel?
