Great vid! My fav character by far. Loved Tywin the Villian Mastermind. Dr Doom mixed with Vito Corleone. Chess strategist, truly dangerous mind. His scene prepping the deer🔥, scenes when Arya served him 🔥🔥, scene when he sent Geoffrey to naptime🔥🔥🔥. Some of my fav in the whole series. Or how about the deleted scene when Tywin is the only fishing and call out Pycells scheme that no one else figured out. Amazing

Tywin is not friends with very many people but he is a great administrator and an even better character.

the Lannisters are royally fucked at the moment, and they deserve to be. i hate everything about house Lannister, which also includes every member of their family, even the dwarf,the Targerians were always my favorite house, because they are eastern, they have dragons, their crest is beautiful and this last season made me love them even more.

He had a young girl gang raped by his men in front of his son ..for the crime of being together. Great villain and very well acted by Charles Dance, but anyone who says he's a good man is talking out their ass.
I always admired Charles Dance's performance as Tywinn Lannister, he is one of my top 3 favorite characters, possibly tying up at second with Varys, he was ruthless because he had to be, he is a product of his environment and became a man because he had to be. I always felt that which is why I have the utmost respect for him on the show!
I personally didn't really like how he was handled in Book 4. I mean… getting a quarrel from Tyrion… now that's really low.

Tywin is an asshole mainly because I of brutal sacking of Kings Landing and his brutality against the innocent people of the Riverlands. Sure thats part of his character, ruthless pragmatism and rule by fear. But that hardly makes him likable. But, he is a great character

I think your should say Tywin is the best ruler other than best character. I must say I really like the character of Tywin, and when Tywin Dead, I even stopped to watch this show for almost a year. Tywin is a great ruler who can hold the whole realm in peace and order. Even the author want to make him a cruel ruler, but in the book, the realm is peace and wealthy under his ruling. That means he is a good ruler, better than the Mad King, Jon Arryn, Robe, robert baratheon, Ned Stark, Daenerys and John Snow.

Tywin is far less interesting in the books than the show, because the writers knew they had a fantastic actor in Charles Dance. He got many more well-developed scenes and a lot more sympathetic reading in the show than in the books.
