that's not how film "awards" work. they are bought and paid for. if it won best drama, they obviously had to make room for the dozens of other shows who paid them off.

No Maggie deserved it

Kit Harington and Lena Headey deserved it so much.

The reason why the cast never win awards is because the voters are protectionist and don't like to give awards to non-Americans. Only Peter Dinklage has won an award and he is the only American in the cast and has terrible English accent

SPOILER Both Ben Mendlesohn and Kit Harrington died in last years season of their respective shows. Kit Harrington character came back to life this season while Ben Mendelson's character was dead and his only scenes were extensions of flashbacks from the first season of Bloodline. How he got the award instead of Kit requires explanation. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Kit Harington should have won. Ben Mendelson did nothing in the last season of Bloodline. While Kit is the MVP of Game of Thrones Season 6 (along with Lena Headey). You know nothing, Emmy voters!!

Well, they can't win everything. They won so many awards as it is, it's a dream tv show, I don't think they are crying for their ''snubs''

Kit Harrington deserves the Emmy his acting was outstanding, couldn't they see it are they blind especially in Battle of the Bastards episode his facial expressions and actions were brilliant this not fair

Iwan Rheon is better than Kit Harington to be honest, he deserves to be nominated and to win, even Sophie Turner really did a great job this season, I just dont know why these two didn't get nominated.. dayuum!!

Lena heady was amazing in winds of winter so she'd have been my pick. however I don't watch downtown Abbey but you can't really go wrong with Maggie Smith so maybe next year when there's no downtown Abbey to compete with
