Game of Thrones fans will know that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) didn’t meet until season seven of the HBO fantasy, despite the actors being close friends for years. Fans had wanted the fan-favourites to meet years before the dramatic scene Now, Kit has revealed why this was his favourite scene despite the characters relationships turing tour.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when the third episode of season seven finally saw Daenerys and Jon meet for the first time.
Fans and cast alike were in disbelief the meeting had taken so many years for the pair to share screen time.
However when the moment came, Daenerys didn’t waste time when ensuring Jon knew exactly who she was.
As Jon entered the room, Missandei stepped forward on behalf of her leader and delivered the iconic line: “You stand in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains.”

The quote quickly became famous among the fandom and it seems the scene was popular among the cast as Kit Harington revealed it was his favourite scene.
Speaking at at ACE Comic Con, via Comicbook.com, the star spoke put about the iconic scene.
Kit explained: “We had obviously known each other for a long time but lived in completely separate worlds in this universe that we were in.
“What was really exciting was that first scene when Jon walks into the Dragonstone throne room and sees her for the first time.
The actor concluded:”For us, for me and Emilia, it was really exciting because we had been friends for six years and seen each other’s work, but never got to meet.”
Meanwhile, the Jon Snow star recently spoke out about his relationship with his on-screen siblings.
Speaking out about Sansa Stark actress Sophie Turner, the star explained: “I love that girl to my very bones. The thing about Sophie, Maisie, Isaac and me is that we were together for so long.”
He also spilled on his bond with Robb Stark star Richard Madden.
