Welsh farmers backed by a Game of Thrones star are fighting to save a 14th-century farm from being converted into holiday cottages.

Trecadwgan Farm, which sits above the coastal village of Solva in west Wales, has been in existence for about 700 years. Some local residents believe it may even date back to the 11th century because its name could refer to Cadwgan ap Bleddyn, the prince of the Kingdom of Powys.

The 11-acre farm, which is owned by Pembrokeshire county council and was leased to farmers until the last tenant died in 2017, has been put up for sale as an “ideal development opportunity”.
