Personaly i respect edmure, he was one of the few lords who actually cared about his people and when he threw back the lannisters he was
A. Protecting his people and lands
B. Was not yet informed about Robbs plan to outmaneuver tywinn.
C. There was simply no time to correspond with robb before acting.
D. Standing orders where to hold riverrun wich he didnwhen engaging then red fork host.

He might be a shitty archer (see funeral) but there is little arguing in my mind that he is a good lord and tactician.

Ummm sorry, but I believe your proposition that Stannis and Robb had communicated is likely false, as Stannis clearly states, that "Robbs time will come aswell"(or something along those lines) during their meeting. It does not undermine Robbs plan to lure Tywin over the red fork so that Stannis could take Kings landing without risk. The Fall of Kings landing, regardless of who takes it from the Lannister, would have strengthened Robbs position in the war.

I often questioned what would happen to House Tully when the Blackfish died… He seems indispensable…

Robb didn't do the 'honorable thing' if he had he would keep the deal in place with Freys whether he agreed with it or not because as it ended (at least in the show, this man was vicious and dangerous). I don't know how it end in the books but in the show that mistake cost him his life, his wife's life, and their child's life. Not to mention his mother's, his wolf's and his men's lives. And it was the catalyst that sent Arya on her journey.

I admit I am seeing a lot of stupid moves based on what you say the book says was done by this woman but I'm not seeing EVIL, in the show she didn't turn into anything else or kill Breann so I don't know about that… if that's what is written, then that is what happened but a worse person then Cersi! … not yet.

To be fair, trading Jaime for Sansa would have been a smart play as Robb could have married her to the Tyrells or Martells.

I was so happy when I stumbled upon your Catelyn Sucks series. Until this time I thought I was the only person who saw her for the evil witch she was. I guess it was somehow only obvious to those who read the books. I wish she had become the zombie Lady Stone Heart in the TV Series. Turns out Catelyn and Little Fingers were made for each other and Her luv for her children was just a means to an end.

Robb-Stannis plan was amazing but the whole house Tully are so fucking dumb beside black fish. Of course Robb would have chose Stannis over renly , hes probably the best field commander of his time and Renly … well its Renly. Even Eddard Stark knew that Stannis was the legit heir to the throne and Renly is just being an opportunistic dick.

Renly was the only option for Catelyn to negotiate with. Stannis would never agree to an independent Northern kingdom, Renly might.
It is also highly unlikely that Robb communicated with Stannis. More likely, he simply knew that Stannis would attack King's landing and exploit this to make the Lannisters lose face.
Trading Jaime for the girls wouldn't be the worst idea in the world either. He could marry Sansa to the Tyrells and get an alliance. He admitted this in book three to Catelyn.

But I agree that Catelyn is not a good negotiater and that she should have backed up her suggestions with reason. I agree Catelyn did some stupid mistakes

You prove that Cat is one of top ten most stupid people in Song of Ice and Fire, but still not the worst.
