George Clooney has made his long-awaited return to the small screen – for a Nespresso ad.
The Oscar-winning director is back to the day job, shifting coffee capsules, and this time he’s been joined by Game of Thrones heroine Natalaie Dormer doing what she does best – being an absolute queen!
‘I’ve slain your dragon,’ George, 57, erupts, bursting through Natalie’s castle doors.
Returning to her regal roots, channelling her long-lost Margaery Tyrell, Natalie, 36, cries: ‘For saving the kingdom, what dost thou desire?’
Clearly making a bid for another Academy Award to add to his already bulging trophy cabinet, George’s latets role sees him jump out of a cinema screen, still decked in his full suit of armour, to ditch the Dorms and go on adventure in the streets of New York City.
Why? To grab a Nespresso, of course, because ‘that’s all I desire’.
George, who’s been a brand ambassador for the coffee chain since 2006, enthused: ‘I’ve been working with Nespresso for many years and I’m thrilled to be back on set.
‘This time I get to work with the very talented Natalie Dormer and live out my fantasy of playing the role of a medieval knight.’
Naturally, Natalie called working with George a ‘dream come true’.
‘He is such a joy and he’s so funny. I’ve been enjoying his work for years, so finally getting to meet and work with him was fantastic,’ she beamed.
It’s no Ocean’s 14, but welcome back George.
