Extraordinary Attorney Woo was one of the most loved K-Dramas of 2022. People loved it so much that a second season is in the works, which is pretty rare for a Korean show. George R.R. Martin is now one of the people also waiting for its next season to air. In his latest blog post, he mentioned the TV shows and movies he loved and said, “Parris and I have also been enjoying EXTRAORDINARY ATTORNEY WOO. Not a new show, I gather, but it was new to us. (So much good TV right now). I hope there’s more coming of that one.”

The legal drama, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, follows Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), the first South Korean attorney with a rare case of autism, Savant Syndrome. The 16-episode show follows her journey as a young lawyer in the big world as she proves naysayers wrong with her genius. Audiences will have to wait until 2024 to know where and what Woo Young-woo is up to next.

The author also mentioned enjoying the movie The Banshees of Inisherin, saying, “I can see why THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN is getting so much acclaim, even though there aren’t any banshees in it. Brilliant performances by Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. A powerful story, one I will long remember… but damn, so sad. I see people calling it a comedy. Really? OK, but that’s dark humor.”

Martin expresses that he is glad  Sandman is renewed for another season and tells readers that The White Lotus has inspired him to go to Sicily. He says he hasn’t seen Avatar yet, but “it’s high on our list.”
