How accurate are House of The Dragon’s dragons to Martin’s books?
Speaking at a special House Of The Dragon FYC screening on Tuesday, Martin opened up on how he felt about the designs of dragons in both Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon. The author admitted he preferred the dragons on House of The Dragon more, as “They had personality. They came alive. It came as great satisfaction to me.”
He also went on to say the dragons on Game of Thrones “were like all the same”.
Which dragons will be introduced in House of The Dragon season 2?
According to a recent interview with Deadline, House of The Dragon showrunner Ryan Condal confirmed that there will be five new dragons in Season 2. The dragons that are most likely to appear in Season 2, according to the information in Martin’s Fire & Blood, are:
Tessarion – Daeron Targaryen
Sheepstealer – Nettles
Silverwing – Ulf White
The Cannibal – Wild Dragon
Grey Ghost – Wild Dragon
When will House of The Dragon return?
The filming of House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in pre-production, with the casting currently in progress. HBO chief Casey Bloys has confirmed in an indirect way that House of The Dragon won’t be coming back before the summer of 2024.
