As we know that There are many theories about Jon snow’s and Daenerys’s Relationship, Most of the people believe that Daenerys is Jon’s Aunt as she is Rhaegar’s Sister, but this new theory is breaking the internet. I doubt this is true….thats far too many twists in a plot thats already far from normal…it would be overkill to the point people would start to question the sanity of GRRM

She can be Rhaegars daughter Rhaenys from his first marriage (who doesn't remember she survived cause she was too young and probably traumatised). As a dornish princess who came from the east with her people by 10.000 ships only to have those ships burn when they arrive Dany is mirroring Nymeria. And before Nymeria ended up in dorne she also travelled to the same island messandei was from. So while Aegon tried to unite all of westeros behind him (like jon will try to do..whats in a name).. Nymeria didn't bend the knee. And the Rhaenys Rhaegars daughter was named after was that Aegons sisterwife who died. If rhaegar knew what would happen and protected jon/lyanna in dorne its not a stretch someone in dorne would hide Rhaegars daughter as well. But if dany isn't the mad kings daughter….his wife never died giving birth. So where is she? Could she be Quaithe hiding behind her mask? It would explain why she was trying to tell dany to remember who she is.
Yeah, this is dumb. It's a widely known fact Dany killed her mother, the Mad King's wife, in childbirth. She didn't kill Ellia or Lyanna. Literally every detail about this 'theory' is still explained away by them being aunt and nephew.
When Selmy talked to Dany about Rhaegar in S3, he identified him as "your brother."

That's not a theory, it's what the show presents as a fact. I beg to differ, it can't be the daughter of Elia Martell's as already confirmed after having 2 kids, she's unfit to be pregnant again hence there was no 3rd child involved with Elia after Rhaegar annulled the marriage and proposed to Lyanna in secret. Plus Dany is silver-haired, she is definitely a pure blood Targaryen coz Dornish ppl are of darker complexion and if she was truly Elia's daughter, her hair would be dark-browned instead just like Jon Snow with Lyanna Stark… Hence the Targaryen dynasty wanted to keep their blood pure with their features intact through inbreeding. So de-bunked!
This is not GRRM's "own theory". This is some tumblr-tinfoil-theory thats been known to book readers for a long time, and now it has spread to the shows fan boys and girls.
I feel like this theory makes even less sense in the show universe than in the book universe, but that might be because nothing makes sense on the show anymore.
In the books I consider this theory as likely to be true as the theory that Brandon and Ashara are Jon and Daenerys' parents and OMG they are twins.
I could be wrong, ofcourse, but I really hope not. These books have enough incest as it is, and at least in-universe avunculate marriages isn't considered an abomination, unlike sibling marriage.

Her being Elia's daughter Rhaenys would make Dany about 3 years older than Jon. The timeline doesn't add up. Overall, I think this "Lemon Tree Theory" is a big red herring. BUT, if not: it would make much more sense that the Mad King raped Ashara Dayne (he was present at Harrenhal) and that Dany is then Ashara's famed "stillborn daughter." Thus, Jon would still be Dany's nephew.
Ned knew that Jon and Dany were related, and I don't think them being siblings would have affected his behavior, so that point you made was moot.
